“Things I like as a high-tier loyalty member:
Just walking to the car I want, make sure our luggage fits, changing cars if necessary, and then just proceeding to the exit. I also love parking the car upon returning it and then just walking to my flight. No waiting for the busy clerk. National is in all the airports I travel to, prices are usually competitive (but that's getting worse...), and the webiste is functional and easy enough.
I'd be willing to try a plug-in hybrid if they get any.”

“About the slightly above average experience I expected. For some reason I never get the option to bypass the desk at this location and end up waiting in a line. Interactions with personnel were great. Car I got was practically new but had weird smudges on the inside of the windshield... Like from test equipment or something. Will rent from again IF I can bypass the desk.”

“I like Alamo. I don't like playing a shell game of what vehicle they try to get you into when the one you requested isn't available. It's the first time I've had this problem with Alamo. This experience is a one-off. I'll still rent with them. They've been great every other time over the last 11 years.”

“I’m not going to focus too much on the rental vehicle with this review because the one I got was not only clean but it also ran exceptionally well. What I really want to focus on is the customer service from both Mike and Tammy that went above and beyond for me. I’ve also rented enough vehicles in my life to say that after reading the reviews, people forget that they need to read the requirements of what is needed before renting a vehicle (Please make sure that if you live in San Antonio, that you bring a current utility bill in your name AND that you have good enough credit to use your debit card, otherwise, you will need a credit card under your name with funds available to hold the vehicle. THIS IS ALL STATED WHEN BOOKING ONLINE. Also, take pictures before you leave the lot. Document all scrapes, dings, scratches, holes, ANYTHING before leaving and notifying them of this, too. Otherwise, it’s on you. With that being said, having an open communication and friendly attitude goes a long way and this is what I was consistently met with here at this location. 100% will rent here again. Thank you, Tammy for making both the check-in and check-out process so easy. San Antonio and Avis are blessed to have a wonderful employee like you!”

“KELSEY!!!! YALL she’s amazing!! I’m a housekeeper, and one of my clients Nannie’s ran into my car in the driveway!! I went in the next morning to get a rental and Kelsey was so funny and so friendly!! Put my mind at ease, walked me through the process of how renting a car through an insurance claim works!! She got the rental ready (pictured) added her card and let me know if I have any questions at all about the car etc, to just give her a call!! “Very satisfied with this location, I picked up a Chevy Malibu at the location at 31240 I-10, Boerne, TX 78006 and the vehicle was filthy and in poor conditions, luckily I was able to take pictures and Mrs Marcy helped me out to avoid those cleaning fees, she provided superior customer service.”

“I asked if I could prepay and get a specific model, and not interested in driving the majority of a long road behind the wheel of a similar model. The Budget agent made short order of my first request and informed me the bill was less than the original quote. The agent then advised me that he added a note to my reservation to ensure I get the vehicle I reserved. I will update this review in the afternoon on Dec 15 after I pick up the rental.”

“Dollar, Hertz, and Thrifty are all one company and that's where you'll find Stephanie. She makes renting vehicles enjoyable and does it expeditiously! My spouse and I are hopeful she never leave the company otherwise, we'll have to rent somewhere else. The vehicles we have rented from her were always clean inside and out, never charged us extra for anything. In short, Stephanie is highly recommended. While in line, we noticed, she also assisted her coworkers helping other customers. Stephanie is very knowledgeable, tech savvy, very helpful and always goes above and beyond helping customers and others.”

“I reserved my car and checked in online. I went to the parking spot to pick up my car, but the dash started that it needed an oil change and had a low tire. It was definitely not ready to be rented to a customer.
I reported it to the rental clerk and she was great in processing a replacement vehicle.”
“The Thrifty/Hertz customer service rep, ALFONSO, was fantastic w/ prompt, friendly checkin and processing of our rental car today @ San Antonio Airport. PENNY was the 2nd representative we encountered shortly after…She helped us locate our rental car in the large, multi-level lot and walked us directly to our car! Kudos to both those wonderful people who were professional, personable, and eager to help us…Thank you so much!”
