“Wonderful customer service!! I have been looking for an exclusive item and they took down my information and actually called me whenever it came in and set up a time for me to go pick it up! They went out out of their way to make sure that I got what I wanted and all customer service advocates in the store were really nice when I was in there. They are all very helpful.”

“I was there and they carded me for a bottle of Wine. I thought it was funny at Wal-Mart in Mineola carded me for Spray paint when I was 24. When I'm 42 I think it was funny I was carded for buying wine.But it's good wine for under 4 Bucks.”
“Actually, I am impressed with this Dollar General. It is clean and stocks multiple items even has produce. There is quite a turn over of employees and some are better than other ones. I am guessing the employees are paid minimum wage. Most of the clerks are very helpful. I frequently trade there because it is close to my neighborhood.”
“There are great people working at this Dollar General in Avinger. It is conveniently placed by the lake so campers can access what they left at home and residents dont have to drive a distance to town to get items they need.”

“There is a worker named Christopher, who seem to be the only worker in there today. As soon as you came in the store, he greeted every person with such generosity and kindness. I have never seen that in a Dollar General ever. He made everyone feel welcomed. I witnessed a customer who was short a few dollars, and he covered their cost with his own money. That kind of generosity and kindness is what we need in Dollar General. I really hope this guy gets the recognition that he deserves.”

“Deals on everything all the time. Imagine if Walmart was a household estate sale and the prices were more like estate or garage sale prices almost. I find items at a 3rd or 4th of what I would pay else where. Another way of thinking about it;; the just a $1.25 dollar tree is cheaper however; here at ollies you find better quality name brand items for prices just as low or just slightly more than the dollar tree. Most would agree ollies is the place to get what you need for cheap.”
