By far, the best meat in town. And for a hometown grocery they have an excellent wine selection. If you want quality products at reasonable prices, shop at Skinner's.”

    “A less expensive option for groceries. More vegetarian options than you might expect, considering the lower prices. They do carry some national brands, but due to their business model, those are subject to change frequently. Even some or their own well received (at least be the few people i know) products will just suddenly be unavailable. That being said, most of their (aldi brand) products are good. A few are even as good as the national brands. One or two may even be better, depending on your taste. Overall, reasonable products and a good price.”

    “Super 1 had been my main grocery store for many years. It was on my route to and from work plus at the time they still had a pharmacy in the store on Highway 80 at Alpine in Longview. After they got rid of the pharmacy, my grocery shopping changed to Kroger’s strictly because they have a pharmacy. I enjoyed my years shopping at Super 1 but after the pharmacy sold out, I sold out too. Super 1 has some good core employees who have taken care of me so nothing negative to say about anyone working there. It’s just sad.”

    “Great selection of products. The meat section is nicely displayed. All the meats are presented in a lighted, clean, all glass, correct temperature/humidity display case. The employees are very courteous and extremely helpful when you place your order. I always received a smile upon someone helping me. Early this morning around 8AM the cashier that checked my cart was pleasant, spoke clearly, rendered eye contact, and was able to hold a conversation. These attributes are difficult to come by from our young adults today.”

    “Lots of fresh food. Tortillas corn and flour available as well as bakery and the meat is always fresh and tasty. This time, their pricing was not as it should be. Cookies on sale rang up 20 cents. More. A package olive oil had a tag on there that it was a couple dollars cheaper. I picked up 2 bottles, it rang up full price, they went back and looked at it, and then said, oh, the tags were up there. They should have been taken down. 2 days prior if the tags up, there are stating the price that's not my fault, that's their fault. I should have been able to get the olive oil for the $2 and something cheaper per bottle. I didn't buy it, but i'm it's almost like you have to take pictures of everything you're buying the prices for them to honor”

    “Super nice guy that runs the place. Willing to will and deal with you on most products in the store. They have a great selection to choose from no matter what you are looking for and not too bad on pricing. The only issue I have ever had is with the vapes. I have gotten at least three different name brands and either it only worked for a couple of days and supposed to be 4000 puffs, or I have had the grape QBox that when you hit it the vape would keep firing after you stopped hitting it. I had an Escobar that only operated properly one day then it after charging it for a full day it still was very difficult to get it to give a good hit. I can't remember what the deal was with the third one, but I immediately stopped using the vape as soon as I noticed an issue and I took it back with the Reciept from the day before along with the vape and demonstrated what it was doing only to be told it was normal for it to run out in two days which is completely false, but nonetheless I wasn't offered or given a refund nor was I able to exchange it for another one of the same price and brand. That really upset me because of the amount of business I have brought there, and the fact that the vapes are $20-$30 dollars each. Other than this situation I have been pretty satisfied.”

    Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions.
