“I don't know how people can give it anything under 5 stars. Look, its a DG in the middle of Nowhere, if you are in a rush for some reason, I wouldn't imagine youd stand there and EXPECT a person just to appear if you arent saying/doing anything. Yes there is a bell in the front. No I have never needed it, or heard it rung. This store is packed with necessities, all the way to things you didnt know you might need. The App is especially useful to see if something is in stock before going. Great place, friendly staff. Give it a try.”
“I am so happy Ollie’s was opened in Brownsville Tx. You never know what you are going to find. Ollie’s has everything you need under one roof. I also took care of 75% of my Christmas shopping list and was able to buy wrapping paper, bows, and tape. Ollie’s has the biggest section of adult and children’s books with new shipments every couple of weeks. If you are looking for reasonable priced brand names, then head over to Ollie’s”

“Such a fantastic Family Dollar! I really enjoy this place. It's so conveniently located, has easy parking, and is in great shape! The store is clean, and well lit. They do swift business here, and the clerks really do a great job of handling questions with a smile! It's great that they have all my favorite brands of frozen foods. It's so easy and convenient to go in there instead of fighting the crowds at the big groceries or box stores. The air conditioning in here is incredible! It gets so dang hot in Brownsville, but they crank that a/c! It feels fantastic.”

“Love their small weightless brooms from here, they do a better job than the big expensive one's, great variety of things for home, office and school! Their chicken broth does Wonders in soups, or soup base, they always have different Spices available.. just love browsing through the whole store!! And also save lots of money ???”
