“If you want a really good home cooked breakfast be at cherries around 6:00 in the morning! For sure Monday through Fridays I'm not sure about the weekends though. Don't wait too late cuz they run out of gravy all the time! Give him a try tell him Stephanie Jones sent you! Oh they have hot Deli lunch plates too! Different home cooked food everyday!”

“Always so kind and helpful at this DG store. This is my favorite DG. Why? Because they stay open until 10pm nightly - an hour later than the other DG stores in this area, they have an excellent selection of craft items, always stock Barq’s root beer for the best price I’ve found - $1.50 for 2L bottle or $2.50 for two 2L bottles! And again, the staff here is always kind and helpful.”

“This store is great! Not only is the staff friendly ,they are also very helpful. This store has pretty much everything one could want or need between major store runs or on short notice. If they do not have it they will try to stock anything you request as long as it is in their system. I love going to this little store and being able to get what I need and want. Also,the chicken tenders here are awsome!”

“I’m looking forward to the Lufkin store refit but for now I especially love the bakery section at HEB. They have fresh tortillas ( and butter flavored too) and my favorite tres leches cakes! “This store is always immaculate, the cashiers always friendly and work hard, the managers are awesome and the in stock levels are excellent compared to others especially, im glad this manager is close to my house because he is the best one I've seen at any of the stores around here! I don't go to family dollar at all now and its closer and more convenient considering itz next to a loop turnaround and the family dollar is next to a gas station......great store, love the upgrade from the filthy old store that was too small!”

“I do all of our grocery shopping here because the prices are great, the employees are knowledgeable on many items, the store is very clean and they have an awesome selection on organic foods. It is generally crowded at 6 p.m. everyday, especially on the weekend. The best time to go is on an early morning weekday or at around 8 p.m. on a weekday. I highly recommend doing your shopping here to cut time (unlike Walmart) and to save money!”

“Brookshire's is another Texan institution! They're located in small places larger corporate chains ignore as well as the Beeg City. This location is always well stocked, clean and friendly, just like every other BB's I've been to. Also, they actually and to a large extent support local schools and charities in each community where they locate. Choose them over the Wally World locations which are getting dirtier and worse since having nearly monopolized the country's grocery and local markets.”

“Great service, friendly staff plus they serve SubWay and Pizza. Although there are 4 gas pump there isn't enough room for more than 2 cars at any given time to get gas. Being outside the city limits on HWY 103E their prices are lower and more reasonable than other stores around Lufkin.”
