“Dr. Huffaker is a phenomenal vet. He is through, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He has treated my green cheek conure, pet chicken and my dog. He is clearly passionate about his job and very good at it. He is able to simplify and explain everything as little or as in-depth as you need. I whole heartedly trust him with my pets. All the ladies that work at the front are amazing. Special thank you to Kali and Karen. They have been so patient and kind. While all veterans care is expensive, white rock is on the higher end, however they are well worth it. The staff is so professional, and they go over and beyond to help your pets. I recommend them 100%”

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience with staff and Dr Shifrin at Eyecare for Animals Veterinarian Clinic. Rey has scars on his eyes; Dr Shifrin examined his eyes, explained what the spots are and the different potential causes as well as potential short and long term outcomes. I learned a lot in a short time. He did all this thoroughly, patiently, and with a kind, fun personality. His staff were warm and welcoming It's stressful to be concerned about any kind of problem, none more-so than the eyes in my opinion. The Dr and his wonderful staff made it a very pleasant experience and, in the end... the bill was better than I expected for a specialist. I would give a 6 out of 5 stars if I could!!! His conclusion regarding Rey's eyes: nothing to worry about or do about it at this time. It doesn't seem to be hurting or interfering with vision and there's little risk it will get worse until, maybe, later in life.”

“TLDR: If you're on the fence on a new vet, please give this place a chance. The staff here are INCREDIBLE, so caring, so sweet, very knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to help clients going through a tough time. They also do great with cats that act out when at vet appointments. We've been taking our 3 cats there for about 2 years. They were always kind, helpful and treated us with respect. Recently we had a harder situation that really showed how incredible this vet clinic is and how much they care about all their clients and animals. Our oldest cat (10yo) was having some breathing issues but we hadn't taken her in for her annual. We got her scheduled and took her in. Immediately the vet wanted to get xrays due to her breathing and weight loss. It turned out that she likely had either an aggressive cancer or fungal pneumonia. Unfortunately due to how advanced the condition was, we had to let her go. Not only did the vet and the vet techs/assistants help us through the whole thing, answer EVERY single question, provide us upfront with costs while explaining why things were needed. I could also see how much they cared and valued our kitty. They knew our specific situation (we also foster newborn kittens which created a larger issue if this was infectious) so they provided us with as much additional information that they had available. Because of the potential fungal infection, we discussed with them on getting our other two cats xrays and potential additional tests. Turns out that it was a good thing they were open to it because both our other cats had the same fungal infection but not nearly as advanced. The vet techs/assistants not only helped us with SO much of the needed information but then went out of their way to call around to pharmacies to get us a cheaper compound of the medication our cats will be on for 6 months. Lastly, on top of all of this that they did for our cats already, they sent us a card in the mail for the loss of our kitty and had written in there a very sweet message. I honestly don't think we would have gotten through this whole situation as functional as we did without the staff here. While we did spend alot of money, it was more due to the testing and extensive work we had to do for our 2 remaining cats.”

“Absolutely best vet in the area and surrounding areas!!!!!!!! Was told by a vet in hutto my dog had a spinal injury and needed to be euthanized, went to see Dr Cohen after a recommendation from a friend. He was able to diagnose and treat our dog with an infection in her spine. After the prescribed antibiotics she made a full recovery. Then he was able to help us with another issue with our dog Beretta. He saved her life. She got into something and go a bad infection in her paw, we thought she would lose the leg. He really had to think outside the box to find the correct treatment. After the wound vac treatment and a course of the right antibiotics she healed fully. He's nice, professional, and you can tell he cares about the animals more then anything else!!!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!”

They were knowledgable, answered all of my questions, and loved on my puppy like he was their own. “The service is great once you get to the location, but the scheduling either online (total nightmare) and on the phone are extremely challenging. If I didn't work from home and my husband works nights so our days are pretty open (minus sleep), it would be impossible for us to deal with the scheduling issues. Not sure why Banfield doesn't update their online scheduling since if you schedule online 9 out of 10 times some will call (typically) the day before and let you know they need to change it. For this last issue, I did call several weeks in advance and schedule directly with the Austin NE location for Tuesday, 9/8 and for some reason one dog didn't get scheduled but the other did. Do I want to come twice when I had scheduled to come once -- NO! So then they rescheduled them both for the following week on 9/15 and 2 days later, they called to advise that they only take 3 dogs for dental cleanings on the days they do cleanings and the vet had already scheduled 2 for the day we were scheduled for so we're scheduled now for 9/24. That's a little over 2 weeks away so we'll see if they actually are able to get their teeth cleaned that day! Update! The Banfield texted today, 9/9 that they had a schedule change for the 9/24 appointment so they will not be able to complete the dental cleanings on 9/24. Could I come the day before on 9/23! At least this time, we getting two weeks notice of the schedule change and not the day or two before, but this is the 4th change they have made for our two dogs dental cleaning appointment.”

Dr. Lee did everything to keep my boy from suffering and she continues to care for his littermate that is still with me.”
