All of the good reviews led me to White Rock and I can see why they have so many! Such a wonderful first impression, from the front desk, to the vet tech, to the vet himself. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and so very sweet to my boys. The vet and tech were so informative and were happy to answer all of my questions, were very thorough and they had a good sense of humor which always helps as vet visits can be stressful! My cats were very comfortable with the staff which made me so happy and feel so at ease. I'm so glad I found this clinic ?”

“I had an absolutely wonderful experience with staff and Dr Shifrin at Eyecare for Animals Veterinarian Clinic. Rey has scars on his eyes; Dr Shifrin examined his eyes, explained what the spots are and the different potential causes as well as potential short and long term outcomes. I learned a lot in a short time. He did all this thoroughly, patiently, and with a kind, fun personality. His staff were warm and welcoming It's stressful to be concerned about any kind of problem, none more-so than the eyes in my opinion. The Dr and his wonderful staff made it a very pleasant experience and, in the end... the bill was better than I expected for a specialist. I would give a 6 out of 5 stars if I could!!! His conclusion regarding Rey's eyes: nothing to worry about or do about it at this time. It doesn't seem to be hurting or interfering with vision and there's little risk it will get worse until, maybe, later in life.”
“Dr Gregg Farmer is the best. We took our 12 year old cat Bogie to a vet that was located closer to our home bc he was losing a lot of weight. They did all sorts of tests and removed some bad teeth but he didn’t improve. Took him to Dr Farmer for second opinion and found out he was diabetic and had thyroid issues. We changed his diet per Dr Farmers instructions and out him on thyroid meds and he’s now back and healthy running up and down the hallway again. The other vets office charged me a lot of money for tests (and retesting) which they did “in house” but they never recommended anything or said blood results showed any problems. They didn’t really know what the problem was and said “we will just keep monitoring”
Our family has been going to Dr Farmer for years- he’s a super vet - really really knows the science of animals and animal medicine -we tried new vets after a move but we will be staying with Dr Farmer going forward. Highly recommend him.
November 2025 update!
Dr F is back in Austin and we are so grateful. Our older cat has special needs - diabetic , thyroid, blindness from detached retina, and sometimes recurring sinus bacterial infections and Dr Gregg Farmer and his team at the Animal Medical Center of Austin has been right there to give us great veterinary advice expertise and guidance. Our goal is to keep our cat happy and comfortable as long as possible. He’s doing really great and is happy and enjoying his little cat life with our family. We couldn’t do this without Dr Farmer’s years of veterinary practical excellent experience. Truly the best vet we have ever been to. Highly recommended.”

“Absolutely best vet in the area and surrounding areas!!!!!!!! Was told by a vet in hutto my dog had a spinal injury and needed to be euthanized, went to see Dr Cohen after a recommendation from a friend. He was able to diagnose and treat our dog with an infection in her spine. After the prescribed antibiotics she made a full recovery. Then he was able to help us with another issue with our dog Beretta. He saved her life. She got into something and go a bad infection in her paw, we thought she would lose the leg. He really had to think outside the box to find the correct treatment. After the wound vac treatment and a course of the right antibiotics she healed fully. He's nice, professional, and you can tell he cares about the animals more then anything else!!!! 10 out of 10 recommend!!!!”

“Dr.Gudipally always took excellent care of my dog Bruno, him and his staff were always very attentive to my concerns and always treated Bruno very well. Usually could get same day appointments when I called, especially if it was an unexpected and urgent need they could squeeze me in here or in the Hutto location if need be.
Sadly Bruno’s condition deteriorated faster than anticipated and I had to euthanize him.
I always told myself I would do at home euthanasia but I wouldn’t have been able to get an appointment with the at home companies for 2-3 days and opted to do it in office here rather than make my dog suffer more, the staff made it as dignified as could possibly be expected and were kind and empathetic the whole time.
I’m not sure when I will get another dog, maybe when I complete my degree, but when I do I won’t hesitate to bring them to Pflugerville Animal Hospital. Thanks so much for all the great care y’all gave to my best friend over the past few years, I really appreciate all you guys”

Vanessa at the front desk is super pleasant, professional, patient and her customer service is top notch! Dr. Abernathy, Casey, and another super nice gentleman (I'm not sure of his name) that all took the time to make sure I had all the information to keep her comfy and safe for the recovery period!
