“Every time my wife and I pass by we tell each other we should stop. This is a unique place and loved the atmosphere, reminds me of some of the shops in Gruene. They have unique gifts and lots of snack samples. That alone is worth the stop. Ladies are friendly and make you feel welcomed. We ended up buying several gifts for Christmas.”

“We had the best delivery (or should I say pick-up) experience with the crew at The Exceptional. We purchased an unassembled upholstered king size bed which came in 4 boxes. We picked up at the store in boxes as we were taking to our second home in Houston. The crew there opened each box so every single piece could be inspected for damage (there was none). They then carefully repacked all the boxes and loaded into our enclosed truck. It took about 25 minutes from the time we drove up until we drove away, but I must say it was well worth the time spent. They also ran thru the assembly instructions since I would be putting it all together.I don’t how many times things are delivered to your home (never from the Exceptional) and there is an issue with damage followed by the hassles of return or replacement. If every store took the time the Exceptional did, there would be a lot less stress in this world.The four guys helping were all very friendly and accommodating and I can’t say enough about them or the process.Kuddos!Jeff SchmatzMcAllen”

“I really enjoyed this place. We were at a restaurant and they had their Christmas tree decorated with beautiful things, all things Mexico. I wanted to get some of the ornaments and it led us here. They had the ornaments I was looking for but so much more. They had a lot of beautiful stuff and if you have a place to decorate or what to pick up a gift that is unique and a good value I would recommend it. I think they have exceptional taste here.”

“I needed to drop off a package and the Post office was in this cute gem of a store. The employees were kind and welcoming. The store had lots of nice jewelry, eyewear, collectibles, purses, toys, home decor, personal care items and even some items for furry friends. Wish I had more time to really look around but that post office run gave me a reason to return to this adorable shop.”

“I liked it a lot, there are the same things as in Ross and at almost half the price, for example, some ankle boots from the same brand, exactly the same ones at DD's cost me 13 dll and at Ross I saw them for 27 already with taxes. Super savings you can find at dd's just by looking for them.”

“It's just too bad that they don't want to give you full price for your items because you lost the receipt. Also, they give you a gift paper card that easily you can lose it or confuses it with a tag. I threw more than $79 by mistake. I confused it with a tag”
