“I cannot describe how pleasant my experience was with the Van Alstyne Post Office today.A package was listed as delivered. When I checked, the package wasn’t there. I called over to the Post Office and spoke with the Post Master.Long story short: he asked that I give it another hour or so and if the package hasn’t arrived to call him back.I did get the package about 45 minutes later. Didn’t want to call to the Post office again since I was sure they were crazy busy.In an act that I don’t see anymore, the Post Master called me back to confirm I received the package. Love the follow through”

“I've only dropped packages off at the counter and in the drop box. Nothing has gotten lost in well over a year. Happy with the service there. Still physically going there, like any post office I would avoid at certain times as lines can go out the door. Technology is your friend in 2022.”

“Always greeted nicely and with welcome when I go to this USPS facility. If you’ve been to other USPS locations, you know that is usually not the case. Staff are great, wait time are very low most days, and the inside is clean and organized.”

“For the most part, for a post office… it’s not bad. Employees are always friendly and lines, although can get long, they do their best to move them along efficiently. Parking lot has a few issues but not as bad as many other post offices I’ve been to.”

“I mostly use them for P.O. Box. Sometimes i need to pick up a package. Yes, some waiting is involved. But other than that no problems. More services were available here before. Not sure about that now. Its the main post office for McKinney next to Dickeys BBQ And McDonalds. Located right off highway 75.”

“Allen and the other lady (I did not catch her name) working today (12/12/22) were so wonderful I had to write a review. When I arrived first this morning, my package was large and going to be expensive to ship, so the lady working patiently gave me tips to make my box smaller since it wasn’t full. I came back later this afternoon and Allen checked me out and was genuinely so excited that I saved over $50 by trimming down my box. I have had many unpleasant experiences with post office workers being short tempered and almost annoyed with me, and I know the workers are overworked and rundown a lot during the holidays. That is not the experience I had today! Both Allen and the other lady were cheery, kind, and helpful at the beginning and end of their all day shift (and I doubt they took any breaks as the lines were LONG). Just wanted to share my positive experience with two awesome employees today!”
