I came in to look around and ended up finding a TV that was perfect for my needs and he proceeded to help me test it out, walked it up to the checkout counter, rang me up and even helped me take it to my car! I really appreciate him and his customer service! These days it is so rare to find people who genuinely care about their jobs and the customer, so it was a breath of fresh air!”

“This is our family’s home away from home! We love this place and adore the owners, Chris and Tina. Both are genuine, hard working and care deeply about people and the community. The thrift store is beyond what I’ve ever experienced and they keep improving it all the time. Prices are beyond reasonable and has made shopping for shoes, clothes, toys, gifts, etc. manageable for our family of 10! Tuesdays and mid month are our favorites but they have hosted ladies nights, Christmas decorating parties, and outside toy and bag sales. This store is the epitome of customer service. And I’ve read where folks drive 45+ minutes to come. It’s worth it!”

“Second Handz Thrift and Resale was extremely helpful during a tough time in my life. My father passed away and I needed help clearing out his apartment after the family had taken what they wanted. I called them and they were so nice and quick to meet me and carefully take away the gently used furniture. I highly recommend this shop as I was impressed by the respect they showed and their kindness. I hope someone goes to their shop and checks them out when in they are in need or furniture or kitchen dishes, etc. I know they have some nice things.”

“One of my favorite thrift shops in the area. It's a small shop with a lot of personality and very friendly staff. Newer items and toys with some modern electronics and up to date brands but mostly older items. Perfect for finding 50s-70s items that are more "vintage" than just plain old. Lots of the items have been donated here directly so I love seeing what other have brought in to give a second chance. Great selection of glassware, small furniture, artwork, small electronics and books. Double check the CDs and DVDs to ensure the disc is inside, but other than that is place is amazing. Don't forget to get your loyalty card punched!”
“Truly a hidden gem! If I need jeans or graphic tees, this is my go-to store. When I was looking for business attire, this is the store where I found work pants and over-sized blazers. If I’m looking for vintage clothing items, this is the place to go. Never super busy, always organized nicely and the staff is always super helpful.”
“Completely speechless on how much this family, this mama, does for so many.. a true inspiration.. always needs volunteers and donations y’all, even with having vehicle issues and even getting a flat right after and having so much on their plate they delivered, out of their way, myself and my family a bunch of food that has really gotten us through these very rough times. And she didn’t complain and was even happy to do it.. so let’s give em a hand and help them when we can y’all. “They have waay more stuff. And right now they have bunch of brand new phone cases from metro pcs mostly for stylo 2 and samsung. Lots of house decor and shoes and very reasonable price. Also every 15th of the month all used clothing is half off.”
“This is one of my go-to thrift stores (and I've tried most of them!). They always have a good selection and variety of items. They also have 4 dressing rooms with a limit of 5 items, so trying things on goes fairly quickly, and things are usually pretty clean. Their prices are also one of the best in the area!”

“I genuinely enjoy this thrift store. It’s truly all about perspective and you’re bound to find treasure if you have the patience- because this place will test you.
It is chaotic. I have seen all sorts of things on the floor in a vast range of prices. Some things are admittedly questionable. But despite the chaotic arrangement the staff is really on the floor working nonstop! They’re putting stuff out all the time and going through and trying to regain some form of organization on the floor. It really comes down to customers lack of etiquette! I have seen people leaving piles of clothes behind on random sofas, dropping clothes from hangers and leaving it on the floor, even breaking stuff and walking away. It makes it impossible and exhausting for the staff to keep up.
In terms of prices- yes it gets kind of wild. Some furniture and decor is priced like “vintage/antique prices” which was initially surprising because this is a thrift store. However, I find that most of the clothes here is super affordable and there is bountiful of choice. Though I enjoy looking through all the inventory and have found great decor, bricabrac, furniture on the floor for great deals - I mainly shop here for clothing.”

“This location is like the walmart of dollar tree. Bigger store than most other dollar trees and more to pick from it feels like. There's another dollar tree like 1 minute down the road on Galloway and Towneast. This one is off Towneast but by Target and McDonald's across from the mall kinda”
