The management ( Sheyenne and Sidney) is very considerate to any of your requests and they also organize a lot of frequent events to keep the tenants more engaged and collaborative with the apartment community. The maintenance requests are attended pretty fast and the rent is very reasonable for the amenities and support they provide. “My husband, our dog, and I have been living here since March 2024 in a 2 bed/2 bath unit on the 3rd floor, and overall, we’ve really enjoyed our time here. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable. What sold us on it was the soaking tub, the aesthetics of the complex, and the dog park.
The community is beautiful and has a true resort-like feel if you can look past the dog waste and the trash. I’m glad they fix up the gravel every now and then because it gets everywhere and it gets thin exposing the irigation and the weed block fabric. The pool area is beautiful but gets very overcrowded during warmer months—often with people who don’t even live here. We’ve been here for two summers, and I’ve only gone to the pool once because of how packed it gets.
The dog park is probably our favorite amenity, but unfortunately, many residents don’t pick up after their pets—both in the park and throughout the complex. I really feel for Tony (I think that’s his name), one of the maintenance guys. He’s out there working hard every day, and it seems like he has to deal with a lot—he definitely deserves a raise.
Maintenance in general is responsive. Our AC has gone out, and we’ve had faucet issues—everything gets taken care of. But the app used to submit requests doesn’t seem to relay preferences well. We’ve had several cases where we asked for an afternoon visit, and they still showed up first thing in the morning.
Parking is another challenge near our building. It’s easier on the left side of the complex (maybe because it’s more spread out or has fewer residents), but where we are, it can be frustrating. You can pay extra for a reserved spot or a garage, but with rent already as high as it is, that extra cost can be hard to justify.
We were also surprised by some extra fees we weren’t fully informed about when we signed—like the fluctuating water and shared community gas fees. We expected valet trash and pest control, but those extra monthly charges were a bit of a shock. We now pay $90+ more a month than what our rent is.
As for amenities, only my husband has used the gym, and from what he says, it’s just okay. We haven’t used the clubhouse, the grills, the putting green area, or the parcel lockers yet, but we like that they’re there if we want them. It’s nice to have those options.
Despite the issues, we’ve made great friends here and really enjoy being part of the community. If management could improve communication and enforcement on some things, this place would be even better.
