“Jesus made the move in process so easy, he was very nice and informed well on everything we needed to know. As far as living here I love it so far. I can’t say too much about it yet but everything is very nice and clean. The only downside is the parking. you must pay for parking, carport, or a garage unless you park a mile away from your place in the free parking they do offer which fills up fast!. I would hate to have guest come over. For how much we pay for rent I think that should be included.”

“These apartments, while older, are actually cute and seem like a great place to get an apartment for someone who is just starting to live on their own for the first time. We have been looking for our daughter at different apartment complexes. One thing I really loved was how the 1 bedroom apartments on the ground floor has a little fenced in yard. The apartment manager, Marina, was extremely patient with us. We asked a lot of questions and probably took more of her time than she expected, but she never made us feel like we needed to rush. She made sure she answered every question we asked, she was very knowledgeable, patient and so kind to us. We appreciated it so much especially since we had been rushed through while touring other properties.”
“The best apartment I have ever lived in. The administration is excellent, the manager is super attentive. Any problem you have they solve it quickly. The entire condominium area is very clean, the gardening is well maintained, the laundry is impeccable, I could say that it is the best I have seen here in Odessa and not to mention the pool, the crystal clear water, it is a pleasure to bathe here. This is a quiet place, in addition to being located in a good area. I always recommend it to all my friends and family who are looking for rent.”

“I appreciate the time and effort the office people for always getting together and making something special for the residents one day it was breakfast galore another was steak tacos and they have even had raffles with prizes. I'm glad I was able to make it today, they had a charcuterie board with chocolate strawberries and roses. She was very welcoming and helpful. Ms. Hydee then assisted me and took me on a tour of the property. We toured apartment 812, and it was a very nice apartment.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience. Everyone was professional, friendly, and made me feel very comfortable. I really appreciate the great customer service and would definitely recommend checking this property out!”

“My son recently moved in and I have another friend who lives here. No this isn't super fancy but the office staff is extremely responsive and kind, and they probably have the fastest maintenance team I've ever seen. And from what I can tell, they encourage community which is awesome. All in all, not fancy, but definitely affordable and friendly.”
“We moved there in 2019. We lived there for over 2 years at Westwinds Village Apartments. It had became our home. It was the nicest place that we've lived in since we moved to Odessa. The grounds are always kept mowed and they recently made the swimming area nicer too. The management staff and other employees have always been friendly. I really miss our apartment!”
“I lived here for about 11 months in 2023/2024. Overall, I liked it but it was imperfect.
Pros:
I paid $820/month for 630 sqft, which was a pretty good price for the area.
The unit was relatively sound proof, I only ever heard my neighbors when they went out of their way to play music loud enough for everyone to hear. Though, if you face University, you will hear loud cars.
The apartment was pretty nice, much better than other complexes around it. It did have minor imperfections like paint droppings on the floors, so it may bother you if you like perfection.
The maintenance was immaculate. They always responded within 24 hours, usually within just a few, to any request and got it fixed very quickly with no hassle. Definitely the best part of living here.
The fees outside of rent were low and reasonable, just things like trash, no unnecessary junk fees.
The apartment was in very good condition when I moved in. Everything was clean and in working order.
Cons:
The parking lot that runs nearest University is one of the worst I have ever seen.
When I moved in we had some grass and the grounds were generally better kept, but the new management seems to have neglected that.
My energy bill has gone down in my new place despite it being bigger. Either the appliances here are inefficient or a lot of air is escaping, not sure.
There is a fireplace.
Only reason I lived is because at the end of my lease, they raised my rent $200, putting it above $1000/per month. Although I mostly liked University Gardens, the place I had was not worth this much. You can get much nicer place in Odessa for $1000+/month. I see that my old unit is currently listed for $1100/month which I think is highway robbery.
The buildings look nice outside, but occasionally the atmosphere didn't necessarily feel nice. I wouldn't say that I ever felt unsafe, but more of an occasional "sketchy" feeling if they makes sense.
They don't report your rent payments to credit agencies unless you pay a monthly fee.
The bathroom is a bit cramped.
Overall, for the price I had been paying, I think this was a good place to live. I wouldn't pay current 4 digits for it though unless I just couldn't find anywhere else. I read through some of the other reviews and they seem full of horror stories. I never had any big issues here, only a few small things. I think if you can get a good price then I would definitely recommend it. I would have given it a 3.5, but it's closer to 4 stars than 3 I think.”
“Mrs Tiffany , Lexi an miss Jasmin in the front have done so much for me since I moved in with my two girls they have made the whole experience as pleasant as they can an have took really good care of us the whole time we where here , a special shout out to Miss Amy who has taken care of us an out apartment with so much love an grace it was always nice seeing her when something would break or need fixing ,. thank you lady's y'all have held a special place in my heart these last two years an I just can't thank yal enough , God bless and keep up the good work . not one time in two years have I seen these lady's not glowing , they really got it down.”
