“My husband recently had surgery and needed a pain medication refilled. This pharmacy would not refill the prescription because it was one day before they felt the refill date should be even though the doctor called to authorize it. This was aggravating and my husband suffered in pain throughout the night. However, they did fill the prescription the next morning and had it ready first thing. I guess I can, on some level understand their point of view given the prescription was for a narcotic and the pharmacies are restricted by state regulations. But, I still feel they should have accepted the doctor's authorization. I'm giving them four stars because they prioritized his prescription the next morning once they felt they could fill it. Just glad it was only one day! Overall, service is good at this location and they do try to be helpful. This is our pharmacy of choice.”
“Ya'll, if you walk in with an unhappy face, you will only see unhappy faces... but if you walk in like a normal human being walking into a pharmacy then you will be pleasantly surprised. I absolutely adore seeing the young ladies and the pharmacist herself, who always are sweet in helping me with my prescriptions and being extremely patient when I call a few more times than I know I should for a check in if the doc has done his job (shout out to Reagan for always always always being so unflappable as my anxiety takes hold, you are the best ma'am!!!). This business is truly a small business you don't want to skip and just as easy going as you would expect to find in Mayberry. <3”

With just 1 phone call and within a few hours, they had contacted my old pharmacy, transferred the prescription, set up my profile with all the insurance information and set up delivery. I was even able to pay virtually.The very next day, my meds were delivered to me!! That is just amazing service!! Thank you.”

“I went to the Walgreens at Dulles and Lexington to get my flu shot, and I honestly don’t understand why this place doesn’t have all 5-star reviews. The pharmacists were absolutely amazing — super friendly, patient, and professional. They took care of me right away and made the whole process quick and easy. The pharmacist who gave me my shot was so gentle and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time.
I’ve been to other places before, but this was by far the best experience I’ve had. Everyone there genuinely cared and treated me with kindness. The store was clean and organized, and even the cashiers were super nice and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place where every employee seems to actually enjoy helping people, but that’s exactly how it felt here.
Overall, I left feeling really cared for and appreciated. I highly recommend this Walgreens to anyone — especially for flu shots or pharmacy services. I’ll definitely be coming back!”

“Picture this: A heart transplant patient out-of-state & visiting family runs out of pills. I normally get them through the pharmacy that is affiliated with the transplant center. So I call my transplant coordinator and asked them to send a 90 day prescription to CVS . . . Ditto for a prescription from my nephrologist. Less than a day, both were filled.
No problem using either my insurance or Good RX, just had to reprice the Good RX one at the “Drop-off” counter.
Then a few days later the CVS calls and asks if I would like to tie the two orders together so that I wouldn’t have to worry about making two different orders. Yes sir.
Really working for the patient. Nicely done.”

“Regardless of a inconvenient past experience, I can also give acknowledgment where it's due. I am happy to share my experience. As I was in Yessenia's line to check out, I witnessed excellent customer service skills. The customer she was checking out 2 people ahead of me seemed upset with her because her card was declining. Yessenia stayed calm and composed, as the customer tried the card multiple times. After a while The customer behind offered to pay for that customer's purchase. The customer continued to be short and rude to the cashier and customer trying to pay for her. I was amazed at the calmness Yessenia maintained throughout. When it was my turn she checked me out with smile as if nothing happened and was very kind. I Loved that! Great job to you Yessenia!”
