The manager (Clay) is very knowledgeable about the regarding the needs of your particular type of vehicle. This shop diagnosed and found the problem within the first hour, fixed it, and I was ready to go. Really good service , great hospitality, and well rounded when it came to making time for my car the other cars there. “I had the top radiator hose blow on me on Gulf Freeway. Tow & Go moved my Jeep to a safe place so AAA tow truck driver (Marcus) could take me and my Jeep to a shop. He was so awesome! He took me to the AAA approved shop - Downtown Automotive. Understanding that I was on my way home to NM in time to make it there to go to work, he jumped on the project. He made 4-5 phone calls to get the part there that day. I called a friend to get a ride back to my son's house. He gave me an estimate up front and called me with an update. When I got there the next morning, it was ready to go. I am now back home safely and so thankful for the excellent service that they provided me. Thanks for great service.”
“I took my 15 year old Toyota Sienna to the Toyota dealership to get my air conditioner fixed in October of 2025. They fixed it and charged me $4000. It was winter so I didn’t really use it much between the end of October and March of 2026. We also only use the car for long trips so didn’t test it out. Anyway, we went out in it and the AC wasn’t working so I took it back to the Toyota dealership and they wanted to charge us about her $2600 to fix the same issue that they just repaired 5 months previously.
I took the car to Freddy (Texas Autocare1), not only did he fix the AC but he also buffed out my front lights, it looked so good that I thought he replaced them. He charged me 1/7th of the price Toyota wanted to charge me for the same thing on the second attempt. Freddy and his staff are amazing! I have been using them for several years. Freddy has the most integrity and is super kind too!
Definitely recommend this business for any car related issues.”

They were outstanding courteous expressed regret for the issue that I had that they resolved in a timely manner. They also repair an issue that was not part of my warranty that was worth $1000 and they took care of it for me they ought to be commended for the Customer Service Big O is the representative that I have been dealing with and he’s been fantastic from day one and like I said I was going through some things unfortunately in life and took it out on the wrong people and business.”
