“I would like to say how much I love Dollar General stores for my quick convenient needs, but unfortunately I go in with a certain lowered expectation of quality service. Today changed my perspective.I was shopping around and started looking for the greeting cards section. Almost immediately someone asked if I needed help and then went and grabbed a basket for me to put my 6 items I barely held with my hands. She guided me to the card isle and told me to have a great day. This experience is what customer service was all about. I pass several dollar stores on my way home, but this one will now be my only one.The persons name was Tabatha and she works at the 3100 Windy Hill Road in Buda, TX (78610) location. I made sure to go back in the store and ask for her name. So many people tend to report only the negative experiences and forget to share the wonderful ones.Please do anything you can to tell her what a great asset she is to the store. “A very nice place to go shopping for cheap, but really good things that you can't find in other more high priced stores. What stood out most about this particular store is the worker(Missy) may have been the manager, anyhow she allowed my wife to bring back her lawn lights that were defective and exchanged them without a receipt. No questions asked just gave her an exchange. Very nice about the whole thing. Also the store was very clean and the staff were all helpful. Plan on returning to that store.”
“Clean store. Good selection at good prices. I can count on finding what I need when I go.My complaint would be incorrect price labels. The prices on the pricing sticker in front of the item is probably incorrect. This was the case for majority of the items I purchased this visit. I am guessing prices changed recently but still, I pick what I buy based on the price shown so when it's not correct it's frustrating.”
“These are the people from your neighborhood. I avoid Walmart and HEB at all costs to pick up what I can at DG. Inevitably I have to stock up at a box store, but DG has all the little things you need to avoid that nightmare as much as possible. Always reasonable prices and friendly staff!”
“I recently had the pleasure of shopping at my local Dollar General, and I wanted to share my incredibly positive experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome by Mandy. She was incredibly helpful in assisting me with finding exactly what I needed.
Not only did she go above and beyond to help me locate my items, but she also checked me out at the register. Throughout my entire visit, Mandy was incredibly friendly and had the most refreshing smile. Her positive attitude and excellent customer service truly made my day.

“No line , for snowpocalypse 2021 . but might set your hopes a little lower than normal ... No water as of 02/18/21most of the cold goods are gone ,dry goods still in stock , no breadsrunning low on chipsSuprisingly beer is still in stock ... so if you want to stay warm and Lit , go on and get you some !!!!!”
“I have never had a problem there. Staff extremely helpful. I admit they need more help. Maybe if corporate paid employees more, then they would not have such a turnover. Nevertheless, it is a good store with good employees.”
