“EDIT: Initially I did not know this was supposed to be a review for the HEB in Lockhart TX, Google had it lined up with several other places I had been to in Kyle on the same day, and Google never specified which store it was for, HEB in Lockhart is a good store, hopefully they can get an HEB Plus soon, as I think they need it since Lockhart os growing very fast! The HEB Plus in Kyle is also a good store, staff is helpful and polite. They need to get the remodel finished though, as I'm sure that I'm not the only person who goes shopping one week, and then goes back the week following, and things that were located in one place are totally located in a different location in the store, which makes shopping a bit more of a fishing expedition, and takes a little more time. Other than that, they've usually always got what we're looking for, and at very competitive prices!”
“It is a small station but like the others in this large chain of supermarket stores and gasoline stations, it is very clean and has pumps in good condition, and the prices are affordable compared to its direct competitors. In general everything is good, highly recommended to visit it.”
“Located in the car park of same store, my main complaint is that there is no control of direction of flow through the pumps so you get people approaching from many directions so it's a bit of a lottery who gets the pump next.”
“They usually are on point but today the only problem I had was they gave me my cheese cake from the bakery with a ripped of sticker which just looks suspicious (it was half the sticker that just said pretty much heb)like I don’t know when it was made what it has in it when it expires etc”
“My truck broke down all afternoon in Texas in my truck waiting for a tow truck, but my seven year-old and I stay inside with me to allow me to park at one of the gas pumps to stay in the shade. And even though you only get $.79 refills on the fountain drinks, they let my son refilled his slushy the same price. I was very impressed by the customer service provided to me and my son and I was there for over five hours”

“When to the drive up window last week to pick up RX that was not available in Bastrop. Need to give a shout out to Joshep. This guy was amazing! I kinda lost my shit because he needed a picture ID and I didn't have one. He calmly asked if I could get a picture sent to my phone which I did not think of. Got it and I apologized for my semi meltdown. He was so professional and nice, just really cool. Thank you!!”
“Stopped through there with friend's to go look at an RV for sale and the awesome people we bought it from took us over there for dinner. The bbq sandwich was really good , fresh juicy smoked meat. Definitely would drive through to eat there again.”
“There are several very kind and attentive people who work in that place, but there is a young woman who seems to be in her 20s and she is like a despot, I think more than one person will have already noticed her and her attitude, how rude this young girl shows and the worst thing is that she seems to be the daughter of the owners of that place. “I would like to say how much I love Dollar General stores for my quick convenient needs, but unfortunately I go in with a certain lowered expectation of quality service. Today changed my perspective.I was shopping around and started looking for the greeting cards section. Almost immediately someone asked if I needed help and then went and grabbed a basket for me to put my 6 items I barely held with my hands. She guided me to the card isle and told me to have a great day. This experience is what customer service was all about. I pass several dollar stores on my way home, but this one will now be my only one.The persons name was Tabatha and she works at the 3100 Windy Hill Road in Buda, TX (78610) location. I made sure to go back in the store and ask for her name. So many people tend to report only the negative experiences and forget to share the wonderful ones.Please do anything you can to tell her what a great asset she is to the store. “We love stopping here on bike rides - especially the taco trailer next door. Delicious breakfast tacos. Store has Mexican Coca-cola as well which pairs nicely with breakfast tacos.”
“These are the people from your neighborhood. I avoid Walmart and HEB at all costs to pick up what I can at DG. Inevitably I have to stock up at a box store, but DG has all the little things you need to avoid that nightmare as much as possible. Always reasonable prices and friendly staff!”
