“Excellent store . I was gonna give positive feedback on the receipt, but there’s about 25 numbers you have to enter and I just don’t have the patience for that, but it was really clean and well stocked”
“There’s a lady who works there who is by herself a lot of the time, it seems. She is the sweetest and nicest lady. She’s always working hard and it’s not right that she’s alone! They need to give her a raise and hire another worker at least to help her out. She’s awesome! Other than that this store seems like it may be falling behind because of the low staffing. Other than that, you can tell she does her very best in helping customers and also doing the other things required of her. Instead of opening more stores they need to give these employees a raise!”

“It's a good store with good staff friendly management. Today I went in there and their freezers were down. I guarantee you they're going to leave everything in there and refreeze everything when they get their freezers fixed. I wouldn't buy any Frozen or refrigerated goods from them for at least a month.”
“Shermecia was an amazing cashier and helped me find the things that I needed in the store and told me about some apartments that we can afford a lot easier. And I told her that I'd make her some homemade jambalaya and gumbo since I used to live in Southeast Texas. Girl, if we move there, I'll let ya know and you can come over for dinner!!!! Cya, Birdie!”
“Very impressed with Sarena, whom was stocking the shelves with Valentine decorations, she offered to open the boxes since she said I'm the customer and that she was their for me.I said I didn't want to do that to her but thank you, she saw me again and said it would take seconds to open and it would be going on the shelf anyway.I've not had that customer service and felt the importance as a customer as I did today in years.She is definitely an asset to the company, and I pray she will be there again when I return, cause I will.God Bless you Sarena or Serena!!”
“The young man ringing us up was very nice and helpful i had a buggy full of items. This other employee not sure if she was a manager or not told him he needed to speed up. He was going as fast as he could. And i had a line behind me. She got mad and finally came over to a register and helped. Not cool lady.”
“Was looking to FedEx a document... There was no one at the camera area so I stopped a clerk on the floor and thankfully she had the knowledge and initiative to register a FedEx package using her available tools.”
“This dollar store is a fairly new dollar general and they literally have everything, barely run out of things like the other dollar generals, and the customer service is great!!!”

“First off I want to say hats off to the employees at the Dollar General on Hillmont and 87th!!! This store is always well organized and isles are clutter free!! Here in Odessa it is one of the largest Dollar General stores as far as volume and carries items seldom found at the other locations. Super clean!! A Dollar General treasure chest.”
“My beautiful princess runs and keeps store clean and keeps the employees inline & on there toes but I wish they would get the phones fixed where you can call and ask if they have something so I wouldn't have to go bother my queen and ask for something like a can pumpkin or to see if her favorite candy and cokes are in the she loves ❤️”
“This store is always stocked with the nice things that dollar general has to offer. The cashiers don’t have the very best customer service, but they get you in and out. You can’t take the shopping cart out, which sucks because they keep this store stocked nicely and makes you want to buy everything. It’s also one of the more cleaner DG’s. It’s got the fresh market stuff like vegetables and fruit. You really need to pay these employees more for how much work they do.”

“Man... A dollar general out here in pleasant farms was a blessing for all those who live in Odessa but stay way out here... We have so much there from food, to toppings, and soups. Dollar General is very very useful well priced cheap and there's a ton to buy and look at. The prices the local! But there should be more cleaning outside with all the litter out there all the time and yeah a bunch of weeds out there but ah love the place!”
“The only bad thing i can say is they cant keep those Clubtails 16 oz canned margaritas because im constantly cleaning them out lol! I live half a mile away and i shop there often and they are really good people and when i speak spanish, they are patient with me and speak clearly so can understand. Good people that run a good shift!”
“Dora has been here as the cashier since I’ve moved here a year ago and I also go here for some quick groceries and she’s also been amazing for finding stuff, I’ve seen her deal with nasty customers and she is always very nice, I feel like she deserves some appreciation.”

“Love this place but corporate needs to let these people ,at ALL THE DGs, have control over the air , it is so uncomfortable shopping at these stores because they are all hot and stuffy inside, be it spring,summer, fall or winter it's hot and stuffy. I couldn't imagine being an employee there , unloading and stocking with it stuffy. Passing bodily fluids , ha ha , palm sweat, onto the products. I've asked at several of the stores why is it always hot in dgs , always the same answer we don't control it.”
“One of the cashiers there was the best worker I've seen in a while. Her name was Kia and she covered the $2 over my daughter went in spendingbher birthday money. On top of thatshe went and picked out a blanket for her and bought it for her as a belated birthday gift. She was somebody who proved that kindness to strangers isnt dead”

“Amazing staff! You can find most anything you need and some that you don't (but think you do at the moment). The prices can't be beaten. Especially when they have store wide sales. The items may be second-hand, but they're still nice, and some still have store tags. The clothes range in all sizes. I say come give them a look and see what you can't live without.”
