“LOVE THIS PLACE! This is my comfort food right here. The rice is always delicious. The plantains are always fresh and yummy. I typically get either the carnitas or the chicken. I love there food. Def recommend.”

“The store offers a lot. From cultural food to seasonings to kitchen utensils. You'll just have to walk down each and avery aisle. Most things are consolidated, but if you're looking something very specific, scan the aisles.”
“Love my west side store it's always clean with plenty of cashiers.
Many people are parking in the curbside spots, and going inside to shop. These are regular people not delivery people.
This should get addressed.”

“As far as a little mold or bugs in produce, I make it MY responsibility to check expiration dates on EVERYTHING before I purchase. People need to realize, especially with prepackaged items that it is somewhat impossible to catch everything. But knowing that the Company stands behind their guarantee it can always be returned for your satisfaction. JEREMY you were wrong to call the employees lazy! That store is immaculate every time I go in. Why don't you go to work there and see if you can contribute something positive.”

Great H-E-B Fuel location on West University. Pumps are always clean, prices are competitive, and it’s easy to get in and out. Staff is friendly and the area feels safe and well-lit. One of the best fuel stops around—highly recommend.”
“I visited El Rancho in Odessa, Texas while preparing for my daughter’s bridal shower. I went in to purchase tortillas for a discada, and a gentleman named Miguel helped me out. He was incredibly friendly, full of charisma, and went above and beyond to help me choose the right type and amount of tortillas for the number of guests we had.
It’s always good to visit a store where people truly enjoy what they do it brightens your day and makes you want to shop and come back. That kind of positive energy makes such a difference, unlike some places where the meat packers or cashiers don’t even smile or acknowledge you with a simple hello.
If you ever need to place an order or need help deciding what to get, Miguel is the one to ask for! El Rancho also has a great selection of tortillas flour, maize, corn, and even ones perfect for making huaraches.

“I live on the east side of town so I go to the east side H-E-B a lot, but today I went to the west side HEB and I know from previous experience that it is a much nicer store than the East side but today they showed me again how much better they are than the Eastside store I am disabled and I was using one of their motorized buggies, which by the way on the east side they're broken down none of them last long enough to do your shopping. The one on the west side fully charged not broken down much much better experience. When going to check out, the cashier came around to me and said I will unload your basket for you, they do not do that at the East side. The store is so much cleaner at the west side. The people are so much nicer. Everything's organized better I just want to say kudos to the people running the west side H-E-B.”
“Very expensive for Nigerian foods, however I assume it's because items have to be shipped over. When husband is craving Nigerian food this is the place we go.”

“Great variety of items that you will find on your regular dollar general store with the add convenience of a market (fresh meat and vegetables). Like that they plan to add self check out (which are still not in full functionality yet) for fast check out wich I really look forward for on my next visist.”

“The young man ringing us up was very nice and helpful i had a buggy full of items. This other employee not sure if she was a manager or not told him he needed to speed up. He was going as fast as he could. And i had a line behind me. She got mad and finally came over to a register and helped. Not cool lady.”

“The aura and ambience was absolutely delightful. When I walk in the store, I feel at peace with my inner being. Immediately I was greeted by an attractive young latina who said "hi, welcome to HEB!" She was well maintained and probably should've been working in the bakery section with that cake of hers. Way better than the associates at the local Walmart. Here everything truly is better. Although I couldn't get her snap, I do plan on returning and rizzing her up. I believe that I have met my future ex-wife and now HEB will forever hold a spot inside my heart as the place where I discovered true young love.”

“Whoever owns and operates this establishment and everyone that works there is doing God's work. This place is amazing. I'm a foodie, from Atlanta and been in the restaurant business most of my life and I can tell you this is the place Anthony Bourdain would love. Everything that comes off that grill is amazing. I work at Permian Rod right down the street and everyone goes there breakfast/lunch. The morning combo burrito and the lunch chicken fajita is some of the best food I've ever had
....and their hot sauce.....OMG their red sauce is so good. Love it.”
