    “Clean store with a variety of items. Most of the time I go in just for 1 or 2 items and leave with a basket full!!! The workers are friendly which is a nice change from the past experience I had shopping here. The only thing that is a con is the prices keep going up when some of their items should be like the standard dollar store price but other than that I love shopping here.”

    “Most Dollar Generals are messy with rude service. Not this one. The male employee is friendly and happy to help. The manager is great too. She cares about her customers. I have a DG by my house (Garth and Decker), but I drive farther to come to this one because that one is trash. Thanks guys for making my shopping experience pleasurable instead of stressful.”

    “This store is one of the best dollar generals I've been in. I don't get what these people are talking about with the guy that's been there. He's a very sweet guy, he helps the employees keep the parking lot clean, and bring the shopping carts in, he also will take the trash out for them if need be. He doesn't always talk to people that don't speak to him first. He's never given me or anyone that's been with me any reason to fear him or fear that he would do anything wrong. He's respectful and helpful. He's even taken my cart in for me after I unloaded it. Some people form opinions on outer appearance alone and that's not ok because the inner person is usually better than the person who formed the original opinion.”

    “While I personally hate "dollar stores" due to their misleading name and front of being a discount store, this location has been clutch many times for random things. I have gone here late in the evening to pick up children's chewable Motrin and Tylenol when my kids were sick as well as shampoo and conditioner when we ran out. With this location being open until 10pm, it has been an object of convenience many times. I am willing to pay up to 25% more for items if it means a quick trip here vs. a much longer drive to HEB or Walmart. The staff here are generally polite and helpful. The selection of necessities is very good, but sometimes it is fun to wander around looking for things I didn't know I "needed". Don't expect a bargain, basically ever, however their sales are very good if you time things right and look for coupons (which I don't). I would definitely miss this store if it were to close like the other one that was close by.”

I didnt notice until I was home so I went back and she took care of everything with a beautiful smile and great attitude. Her store looks great and she's always so friendly and in a great mood.     “This DG store is far out of the way for me, and I have to drive nearly 20 miles to get there. Still, it's worth it! While most DG stores are messy and disorganized, this one is always well-stocked and well-organized. Everything is easy to find and where it's supposed to be. Also, the employees here are always friendly, and their customer service is excellent. I will not shop at any other DG store. I highly recommend the Beach City location.”
