“Bakery DepartmentAnd who said "Old Fashion Customer Service" was dead? I recently ordered a Birthday Cake with a BLACK PANTHER theme. The ordering was easy. The scheduling was made within a few minutes on a late afternoon on monday, and off I went home. I was picking up the cake on Wednesday morning. The following day, I received a phone call there was a discrepancy with the chosen decorative topping I chose ( there were two options). No problem, I'll go with the other one, i was okay with it but not excited about the decision. A few hours later I received another call, it was the same lady from the prior call, she was so lovely. She told me she understood the importance of a festive birthday cake and she and her staffed looked for a better Black Panther decorative option and found one! They saved the day!! The demeanor of the communication from the Bakery Deptartment was genuine and eager to please. The cake was so delicious. And the Black Panther decorations rocked!”

“Sam has owned that store since I was a young kid, He along with his employee's have always been super nice to my family and I growing up. Now that I have 2 boys and always frequent the place, they are getting to experience the first name basis with Sam and the employee's only with a Mr. In front of their name when they say it. ? and that small town gas station feel. Although it isn't such a small town anymore lol. Since being an adult I have and will always trade at his store. Great location and Great owners.”

“The pumps, availability of the window cleaning brushes and water, the trach cans are not overflowing, and although the carwash is closed frequently, when it is operational the car wash is well worth the price. It is easy to enter from Eagle Dr going south, or turning right off of the feeder road past the intersection going west.”

“Great store, most of staff is awesome and very helpful. The only reason I take away a star is due to the day clerk. An older gentleman with a turbin. He's always stand-offish and has on multiple occasions attempted to either charge me extra for product or refused to allow me to utilize a purchase promo. Has even walked away from the register when I've come up to check out. If it weren't for the younger guy in the turbin or the younger redhead I would've simply driven down the road for better service. They are the ones holding it down, imho. Thanks you two!”

“Picnic Tables indoor and outdoor, crawfish,shrimp, snow crab, oysters, corn, potatoes, sausage, mushrooms...mild, medium, hot. All cooked fresh and great. Melted butter and the best dipping sauce around! Get you a sweet tea and get full. Banana Pudding for dessert is homemade and pretty on point as well.Parking: Dirt & rock parking lot. “Generally has the cheapest gas using debit. Most gasoline stations charge more for debit while Exxon does not. Now this particular one tends to be on the cheaper side in comparison to other Exxon's. Sometimes it's not but it's most of the time.”

“Bad thing about this place is that they close the registers at around 11pm for 45min to an hour. IF your a trucker & arrive at 11:10pm to fuel before midnight, fuel somewhere else.”
“I give this place 5 stars because of the customer service. I saw that someone said, they don't acknowledge. I have been stopping by this little place for years and they always acknowledge. There is usually only one man working there and they do their best. They sort of know me now and always ask how I am doing. They even remember me if I haven't stopped by in a couple of years. That is really nice.”

“The Old River Chevron is in a convenient location. It’s easy to get in and out of no matter where you’re heading. There selection of drinks and snacks is decent. They had my favorite energy drink. The bathrooms weren’t the worst, but it’s not Bucees. There was an area where the coffee normally is, and nothing was there. It looked bare and sad. The kitchen/taco area didn’t appear to he occupied. Looks like they are still trying to figure that part out. The staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. Just enough to get the job done.”
