“Called AAA from outside Crockett and they sent Carrolls. It was a 100+F day, but Charles showed up in his estimated time frame and got right to work changing our flat tire & loading it in our car. Efficient, professional - couldn’t have done anything better!”
“First I will say that I was looking for a used truck. I shopped around a little local and places as far as 100 miles away. I stopped by numerous dealerships that didn’t seem to want to relate or sell me anything. Finally I stopped at All Star Chevrolet. Greg Lindsey met us outside and from the beginning was super helpful. He showed me what they had on site and a truck I was interested in at another location. That truck ended up not working for us but instead of giving up Greg got with Cole Collin’s and together they worked some numbers and showed us a new truck. I ended up leaving in a 2026 Chevrolet 2500hd with everything I wanted plus more and all for around the same price as what I would have paid for a used truck. Thank you guys. You have definitely earned my business.”
“Palestine Tire feels like home! They have installed multiple leveling kits and lift kits on my trucks and I am never disappointed! Anywhere from a simple oil change to lift kits and wheel or rock lights they do it all, and they do great! I always leave there with a smile on my face and that’s why I always use PTC!”
“This particular Take 5 consistently provides Quick, professional service. I have recently had two vehicles inspected at this location and found them to be a great place to do business. My most recent visit was for an oil change. I was very impressed with their professionalism and the cleanliness of the facility. I’m planning to return there this week to get a radiator flushed as I was pressed for time and unable to get that done, but I’ll be back. Great job! #palestinetxcrockettrd”
“I can't thank them enough for thier help, honesty, and integrity. I had traveled to town for a work project when my alternator went out. I took a chance and limped it down the street to thier garage. They managed to get one and replace it all within a couple of hours, and get me back on my way home without taking advantage of me or the situation unfortunately like some places will do. There rates are very reasonable and they went above and beyond to help me out. This speaks volumes about how they treat thier customers and run thier business. I genuinely can't thank them enough and would highly recommend them for any needed automotive services.

“J&R Automotive was a huge help when my wife was driving to Tyler and the battery light came on in our GLK350. I did not want her driving it any farther than necessary, so I called ahead and asked if we could leave it at their shop overnight until I could come get it.
They were completely understanding, let us park it in front of the shop, and even checked the alternator for us. It ended up just being a loose battery connection, and they did not charge us anything.
Really appreciate their kindness, honesty, and willingness to help someone passing through. I would definitely recommend J&R Automotive.”

“Me and a friend of mine were on our way to San Antonio and started having car trouble near Palestine. We spotted this place and decided it would be a good idea to pull in and have them check the car. They were so nice and got us right in and let me know what the problem was. They got the parts hot shotted to their location and got us fixed up and back on the road in less than an our. They were very reasonably priced and some of the nicest people I've ever met. I would highly recommend them for any automotive repairs or maintenance that you need. Hands down a 20 out of 10!!!!!”

“Tire prices have gotten out of control since Covid, but I am finding that Walmart is getting back to normal. They Are blowing away Discount Tire and Tire Rack (which is now owned by Discount Tire). I am saving close to $200 for a set of tires at Walmart Auto Care. I also save so much more on oil and oil filters than AutoZone and O'Reilly's. Thank you Walmart!!! I am happy you are here!”
