“Haven't left a review bcus a transmission isn't like a restaurant you could review right after eating. So the transmission I wanted to get at least several hundred miles on it before I could even make a fair assumption...so far I'm very pleased with how the transmission is working. Automatic transmission does shift a little hard when slowing down and it shifts into 1st gear.. but from what I've read it could be normal until it's broken in. I'll give it a thousand miles then re evaluate that. But all in all I got a great price, great work, and everything went as planned..thanks Custom transmissions(Barts)Dennis”

“James is the "old school" mechanic that repairs your car as if it were his own. He is honest (almost to a fault) and has resolved issues I thought were unrepairable. I inherited a 2002 Lexus 430 with low miles and runs great. The A/C went out and by the time James received it, the compressor had seized and metal filings throughout the system. He discussed available options, followed by what he would suggest. More importantly, why he is suggesting! It worked without replacing the evaporator saving $800. He has worked on my past Acura's and Toyotas for over 15 years. I only call James and ask if he can repair the problem on whatever car I have and get an honest answer. If he can't, he suggests alternatives that have been just as high in quality. He's worth the wait if he's busy.”

“Was recommended by Hieu at MP Auto repair. Thought it was a gasket leak, wasn't. A bracket to the Y pipe was cracked and cause a leak. They put it up on the lift, bingo bango bongo, car sounded like it did new in 2008.How much? $30. What? No way, so I gave them $50. They had me in and out in less than 25 minutes. That's worth more than $30 in time saved.”

This is apparent when seeing his interactions with other customers (who you can tell have been long-term customers). Kat runs the front desk and I cannot say enough about her. I swear I can't make this stuff up. I was in yesterday afternoon to buy door handle seals for my Bug because I was going to replace the door handles. I went out to the parking lot after making my purchase, and when I unlocked my driver-side door (the only door I could unlock), the lock tumbler came out with the key and you could hear a piece drop into the door! Of course, the button wouldn't open the door, so I had no way to get into the car. I went inside and told them what happened and Kelly came right out and was able to get my door open for me in no time with his expertise! Talk about being at the right place at the right time!!
Not only are these great people with a wealth of knowledge, but they do excellent work! They recently did a lot of mechanical and interior work on my newly-acquired Bug and it was like a whole new car when I got it back! It runs and drives SO MUCH better!! And the interior items were PERFECT. I fell in love with the car all over again.
There aren't a lot of places that work on these old cars anymore and we're so lucky to have a treasure like this right in our backyard. I wouldn't take my Bug anywhere else, and if you're reading this, I hope you'll check them out!”

“Service was great! Their pricing was better than competition and they work fast. My car needed an alternator replaced and they took me right in and had it ready for pick up within a few hours. The other corporation shop I towed it from had it for 4 days and didn't do anything with it. I will use them for other services when they come up.”
“If I could give 6 stars, it STILL wouldn't be enough to express my gratitude. The level of customer service is night and day compared to other collision repair places I've used in the past. (Caliber, in case you're wondering).
There was an Enterprise on site that was able to give me the same model car as mine, which is HUGE for me because I am neurodivergent (AuDHD) and DON'T do well with changes such as that. When I got frustrated while trying take and upload pictures of my car damages, the Enterprise employee on-site went out of his way to assist me.
I was delighted that after only a couple of days I was getting periodic text updates that included an accurate estimate of when my car was completed, a detailed breakdown of the cost of damages, my deductible, PLUS a search tool on their website which would let me know EXACTLY where my car was in the process. When my car was completed ( WHICH WAS ONLY ONE WEEK LATER!!!!!!!), they called me promptly to let me know it was ready, and when I asked about payment plans, they recommended that I talk to my insurance company about adjusting the deductible. Despite being refused on that, I was still able to get the rental covered for a few extra days while I awaited a call, which wouldn't have been the case if the guy @CC didn't tell me to call my adjuster as soon as my car was ready. When insurance wouldn't work with me on the deductible, the assistant manager at crash champions cut my deductible in half and when I was running late to pick up my car, they kept the office open for me past closing. Finally, as I was looking my car over, I realized that they had buffed the scratches out of the other side of my bumper that was scratched in a hit and run. At this point I to was in tears. I've already referred my manager to CC, and I will continue to spread the word about the incredible treatment I received there.”

“I initially took my car in to another shop for a fuel related issue. Since the car is a diesel, the other mechanic couldn’t get the problem resolved after being at his shop for over two years. Finally, I had my vehicle towed to Sam and Joe’s and the diesel mechanic got my car running. I’ve only been driving it for a couple of days, but at this point, I’m greatly satisfied with the work that was done on my car. They were quick and efficient..a little more than I wanted to pay, but I’m able to drive my daily driver now. Each time I’ve come to you, even with my other Mercedes, you were able to get my car repaired in a timely manner and you were very professional. Thank you much!!”
