“Haven't left a review bcus a transmission isn't like a restaurant you could review right after eating. So the transmission I wanted to get at least several hundred miles on it before I could even make a fair assumption...so far I'm very pleased with how the transmission is working. Automatic transmission does shift a little hard when slowing down and it shifts into 1st gear.. but from what I've read it could be normal until it's broken in. I'll give it a thousand miles then re evaluate that. But all in all I got a great price, great work, and everything went as planned..thanks Custom transmissions(Barts)Dennis”

This is apparent when seeing his interactions with other customers (who you can tell have been long-term customers). Kat runs the front desk and I cannot say enough about her. When you have someone who has that perfect mixture of kindness and professionalism, well that's special. And they hit the jackpot with Kat.Their waiting room is clean and inviting. Prices are fair and all though I've not had extensive repairs, I have no doubt they are not in the business of gouging their clients.My first visit there was on one of the worst days I've had in a long time. “My check engine light was on, my car was running horrible, and for real, it was bouncing around, idk, it was bad.
I went to a few other places and they told me they had no idea what was wrong. I was a little nervous because its in the corner, almost hidden, but they're good people. Spanish friendly, thankfully.
They had my car for about 48 hours, cost me a little more than I wanted, but they got my Dart fixed after 4 other shops couldnt figure it out, and im glad someone told me where to find them.”

“I brought my wife’s 2024 Jeep Wrangler Willy’s edition to this shop because I had heard good things about the quality of work they do. Plus my wife was ready to get rid of the stock set up and step it up a bit. The staff was very helpful in making sure what I wanted done, was going to fit right, and drive correctly. I went with 20” Fuel wheels and 35” off road tires. We dropped her off at 10am and she was ready to go by 5pm. They installed a steering stabilizer and now the jeep drives better than it did before dropping it off. Im very impressed with the look, the way it drives, and the all around customer service of this shop. There are many shops to choose from (one in particular needs to relax on the sales calls) but in my opinion these guys did a great job, for a great price and I will always take my cars here in the future.”

“I went into Durable Transmission thinking I needed a new transmission. After inspection and computer analysis, it was determined that my transmission fluid was very low and very dirty. The problem was corrected and it's shifting properly again. I could have been easily taken advantage of so I really appreciate the owner's honesty and integrity.
