Petco
3900 Lamar Ave, ParisI dont really like the way they have the fish area set up. I felt like I was walking in circles and still didn't find what I needed. I was looking for aquatic turtle food. I finally asked the gentleman at the counter, and he happened to have some beside the register. I also had to pick up an online order, and that was taken care of easily.

Animal Hospital Of Paris
2950 NE Loop 286, ParisI called at 4:50 pm on Friday afternoon the day after the 4th of July. They had never seen my precious dog but they told me to bring him in. Dr. House was so thorough and wonderful with Taz (6 year old toy Australian Shepherd) who had a seizure in my home before I took him to the vet. Dr. House did bloodwork, ex-rays, etc to see why he was also having pain his his back/back legs. Taz had a kidney infection with blood on his urine. We were given an antibiotic, pain killer, etc and one week later Taz is almost back to his old self. We have a follow up coming in a week or so and look forward to seeing Dr. House again! Friends for life!

Paris Veterinary Associates
2725 Clarksville St, ParisThe staff are just wonderful, and Dr. O'Bryan is amazing with my dogs. My dogs are terrified of the vets office, He immediately sat on the floor and just talked to them while holding them till they totally calmed down. I've never encountered a vet like this before, Amazing.

Lamar Veterinary Clinic: Ables Bob D DVM
850 NE Loop 286, ParisHaley, Tandi & Dr. Nottingham were great. this is the third vet I've tried in town, and finally have someone that takes my dogs seizures seriously. I am a fellow business owner and they accommodated my schedule even though they were booked. So grateful they were able to get my Chevy in and make him a priority. Pricing is great and the staff had incredible customer service. Highly recommend giving them a try.

Mckee's Family Restaurant
1355 N Collegiate Dr, ParisThis is my second time in Paris. Found this restaurant. The ambience was a bit off. People were watching at us so I just ignored them. Got seated, ordered steak and corndog and fries as sides. Corndog was good but steak was overcooked. I always want my steak at medium rare, sure it was well done. Price wise, it was very affordable.

Catfish King
2430 N Main St, ParisI have been going here for years. It is not the cheapest place, but it is 100% worth every penny.
The food is delicious. From the shrimp and catfish, to the hushpuppies, beans, and slaw. I havent tried the chicken fried steak or chicken, but i dont doubt they are delicious as well.
They have some of the best sweet tea.
The seating is very casual. Tables and chairs. Very wheelchair and walker accessible entrance to seating(Personally tested). Though i dont remember if the restroom is all that accessible, i havent been in there is quite a while. Many people with walkers use it, so it must be ok for them at least.
If you go at lunch time especially on sunday when the church crowd lets out, be prepared to wait awhile. Even in the drivethrough. It has a line as long as chikfila. You will be waiting a while.
Beware the drivethrough curbs, they will get you if you are not real careful.
I love this place. We eat there whenever we can.
Also, when trying to get in and out of the parking lot to/from the road, its like playing frogger.

Lance's Sunriser
2880 N Main St, ParisOverall I'd give this place a good rating. The only thing that concerned me was water dripping from the switches over the griddle onto the griddle. Employees were quick to grab a pan and put under it, but still...
That needs to be fixed. Otherwise excellent as long as you don't mind good being greasy. Bacon and eggs were excellent, hash browns had a lot of grease sitting under the bottom quarter. Or maybe it was butter.
