“I want to give 5 stars to Mr. Syed, who works in the bulb aisle. I came here last year to buy some bulbs. As I stood staring at the shelf, completely confused, he came over and offered to help. He explained everything and answered all my questions. I got exactly what I needed, and it wouldn’t have been that easy without him.
Today I came back to buy several different bulbs, just like last time. Again, they all looked the same, with so many kinds and choices. Luckily, I saw Mr. Syed helping another customer. I went straight to him, and he politely and kindly helped me until I found everything I needed.
I also forgot to bring a cart. He told me to wait and brought one over to me. My experience at Home Depot has been so pleasant and convenient because of his excellent customer service.
He is the kind of employee who deserves to be Employee of the Year! Thank you!”
“On a work trip with a flight in 1 day, my brand new (2 months) laptop motherboard fried in the middle of an important, active case. The help desk and store manager were willing to help out and expedite an exchange and transfer of data. Regardless of what the Manager said, the Head Geek was not willing to help, because it meant cutting to the head of the service line, unless I paid for the top service program (almost $200 per year / on a $500 Dell laptop). I had no choice and paid, and had the laptop updated, data transfered, and back in service before closing time. I can see the reasoning, but it still felt like extortion.”
