“Only teal market in the area except if you cross the pas on the ferry and go to HEB. Prices are higher than they should be in my opinion as I feel they are taking advantage of their being the only market in the relative area, but that is the way business goes. Next time will bring what I feel I will need from my local market or Walmart.”

“This Dollar General sits in a warehouse-like building and it's basically a store that you can find almost anything you need from pet food to laundry detergent and of course those beach necessities. they have 16 doors of frozen items and 17 doors of refrigerated food. Four of those refrigerator doors are dedicated towards cold beer, however, none of it is craft beer. Other things you'll find here include bakeware, greeting cards, lightbulbs, cosmetics, bread, diapers, garden hoses, craft items, candles, shamoo, charcoal, ice, insecticide, wine and soft drinks. Their prices are definitely better than those convenient stores that you find closer to the beach. It's also one of the better merchandised Dollar General's that I've seen. If you're in Port Aransas, this a good place to resupply your needs. The pictures add more to the story.”

And, like so many grocery stores now a days, they had pie specials... - $3.14 for two slices (mix n match flavors)- $3.14 for a half pie (same flavor)- $3.14 off a full pieWe got a couple slices and some chicken which we grilled back at the restaurant.A clean store.Great food selection.Great staff... especially the nice lady keeping the pi / pie table filled - thank you!---------------”

“I just really want to give a shout out to the whole crew who was working today at the Dollar general on April 2nd 2023. From the store manager to the other two guys that were there and they were willing to help me return an item that I had purchased out of town and I didn't need anymore because I was able to make it home they went above and beyond to help me and trying to figure out a way that I could return the item especially since I had purchased it on self checkout when the people in Ingleside have only had self checkout for a couple of weeks it was a learning curve for everybody and they still all took the time out of their day even though I was holding up everything they were still able to assist other customers while assisting me and trying to figure out how I could do a return on my item so I am thankful from the bottom of my heart because I have had horrible experiences with Dollar general in the past and not at this store in particular just other Dollar generals but this one is great I really recommend it for anybody The people are great and helpful And I am forever thankful.”
