“What a DARLING store!! My daughter and I made the drive from Fort Worth to downtown McKinney for a mother daughter day. This store drew us in with their window display and open, airy feel. They have so many unique things to choose from that would make wonderful gifts! And, prices are reasonable! The owner was lovely and spent time answering questions. We felt welcomed and really enjoyed the experience.”

“This shop is such a gem — full of charm, creativity, and beautiful pieces. The man who works there was incredibly kind and helpful; he went out of his way to make sure I found exactly what I was looking for. His warmth and genuine enthusiasm made the visit even better. I can’t wait to hang my gorgeous rabbit and swan on my wall — they’re truly stunning! Bird and Words is the kind of place that leaves you smiling long after you leave. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for something unique and made with love.”

“Cannot say enough good things about Tom and his shop. The selection is huge - I had no idea a rustic Texas metal/wood shop could have such depth. You get way more than you pay for when you get to chatting with Tom - excellent, one of a kind experience. 10 out of 5 stars”

“I haven't shopped at this Ross since 2008 when I worked at the shoe store next door. I unfortunately went on tax free weekend so it was ridiculously crowded inside the store. I wanted to go down the clothes aisle, but there were so many teenagers throwing clothes around and trying stuff on in the middle of the store that I passed. I did buy some Korean skincare beauty products, and pink Halloween decorations.”
