“great vet and great staff. At the end of January, my little min pin had been stepped on by one of our larger dogs, and the area that had the damage had gone necrotic and started sluffing off I took her in to see the vet, and she had to have emergency surgery to remove the dead tissue, and Dr. Meier was wonderful. we all had thought she would need multiple surgeries over a several month period, but she only needed one minor surgery to remove one last piece of the necrotic tissue. She would not be here and completely healed with minor scarring if it had not been for Dr. Meier, Dr. Fennel and the wonderful staff. I have recommended this vet to anyone looking for a great place to care for their fur babies.”

“I think it was Kathy? I can’t remember her name from front desk but I was having a literal crisis and she pulled tooth and nail to get me in to have my pup seen same day. She was the sweetest ever. The vets were also so kind and patient with my dog cause she’s so skiddish but they were absolutely amazing. My pup was showing signs of improvement the exact same day we took her in and gave her all her medications. I normally don’t do reviews but seriously this place is amazing.”

“I just want to say what an incredible vet they are compared to others in Collin county. A nearby ER vet claimed our vomiting but vaccinated 3-month-old puppy had Parvo and was going to die even though he was walking, had no fever, and no bloody stool, suggested $7k in treatment. King Vet kept him overnight with IV fluids and he was eating and happy the next day. It was just a stomach flu, not Parvo. Tiny fraction of the cost. King Vet has way more experience and ethics. Call King Vet for an appointment (You must have an appointment, this isn't ER)”

We were referred to the Shot Spot by the City of McKinney. Shot Spot worked with our budget and gave Marley excellent care to the very end. Very kind, caring, and friendly. “I have 2 “chiweenies” who were in need of dental cleanings as well as multiple complex extractions. Prior to the dental we received very clear and concise quotes for each dog- this is hard to find elsewhere. My sister has spoken highly of Dr. Johnson for years and recommended her to us for the needed dental work. So we drove an hour each way to go see Dr. Johnson. My pups were very well cared for during their short day here. One has extreme dog anxiety (rescue from fight house) and Dr. Johnson and her staff went above and beyond to ensure he was cared for and calm. I was very worried about putting my senior dog under anesthesia as he has pre existing medical complications with some of his organs - Dr. Johnson took the time to gather his past medical testing/results from another clinic and was more than happy to help my old guy get some dental relief in a safe manner.
The staff took time to explain the entire procedure, review at home care, and medications. There was no rushing and all questions were answered.
Highly recommend Dr. Johnson and her clinic. I have already shared the info with friends and plan to return for future needs.”
