“This place is amazing! I walked in about 1.5 hours before closing. I needed a few things done to the car including oil change and both front and rear brake service.
Woody was great! He was able to squeeze me in the same day. Nick was the mechanic, he did a great job as well. They even stayed a bit after closing to finish the job.

“Recently we had issues with our son’s car and took it to Brakes Plus, we are really happy we did. We have an older Kia - it’s hard to know what’s wrong with these older cars and they were patient with us, kind, walk us through 100 percent of our questions over several days and ultimately took care of us for half the original quote. What we thought was wrong, turned out to be not that big of an issue and they saved us a ton of money and time. We have been going here for years, we are lifetime customers. “I really wanted to give this experience just one star based on my interaction with Nick(Nicholas), but Jacob went above and beyond and completely changed my opinion. I genuinely want to thank Jacob for everything he did.
The reason I initially felt like giving one star was because I had spoken with Jacob over the phone beforehand and confirmed everything with him. Unfortunately, I forgot his name at the time. I was on a time crunch, and I was told that if I came in, my vehicle should be completed by around 4 PM, so I decided to make the trip.
While I was on my way, I called the store to give them a heads-up and spoke with Nick. When I arrived, I met with Nick again and explained that I had already spoken with someone and had everything confirmed. Unfortunately, because I couldn’t remember Jacob’s name, Nick did not seem willing to help or take my concerns seriously.
What frustrated me even more was that Nick seemed skeptical when I mentioned that I had been offered a discount. He told me that they don’t give out discounts, which made me feel like I was being treated as if I was lying rather than as a customer who was simply trying to follow through on what had been discussed over the phone.
I also explained that I had been told I could be finished by 4 PM, but I didn’t feel like any effort was made to accommodate that. Nothing was done on my vehicle until around 4 PM, which was extremely frustrating given the time constraint I had communicated.
Thankfully, Jacob came in and completely changed the experience for me. He stepped up, helped resolve the situation, and went above and beyond to make things right. His customer service and willingness to help were exactly what I had hoped for when I first came in.
So while my experience with Nick was very disappointing, Jacob deserves recognition for turning a very frustrating situation into a much better one. Thank you, Jacob, for your help and for actually taking the time to make things right.”
“I had such a great experience with Roger at Pep Boys! He went above and beyond to make sure I understood everything that was going on with my vehicle. He explained everything to me in layman’s terms, which I really appreciated because car repairs can sometimes feel overwhelming and confusing.

The guy at the desk was very sharp and helpful coming out to check my tires and showing me tires that could replicate them in what they carried through same day shipment within budget. I came back after I checked with them and they took it in and put them on!”
