“The wall inside my house has a color stain from when my kids were playing around during their toddler age. The builder had only a little left of the original paint, which was about to dry up as paste. Despite this, the paint I have now matches the wall perfectly.
I was worried about running out of paint, so I pulled the spec from the builder and found that it was called “Repose Gray.” I went to Home Depot and bought a quart of Marquee Flat with Repose Gray. However, the color was too dark gray and didn’t match as expected.
I finally took the remaining paint to Sherwin Williams. The gentleman Keith at the store was very knowledgeable and explained that the Repose Gray from the builder might not be the same as the Repose Gray on the floor due to mass production and the large quantity they produced. He tried his best to match the remaining paint I had from the builder, and the result was a perfect match! Thank you!”
