βWonderful store !! Locally ran and owned. Over 25 local artists have their work displayed and up for sale. They also collect bottle caps to help kids recieve chemo treatments. Stickers, artwork, clean restrooms , sodas, smokes and I even got some vinyl records there.β

βThe emotions I can't describe I can walk into DK and their customer service is fantastic, I use this store everyday for gas ect..as well ,as soon as I walk in they greet me with a smile ,even if I have a bad day they find some way to put a smile on my face The gas prices are cheap even with the rewards sometimes I get 20 cents off gas what makes it even better this is the place I will go for gas many years in the future.β
βUsually, I never complain or leave negative reviews, but this experience forced me to do so. We ordered a vegetarian pizza and were mistakenly given one with meat. Mistakes happen, and that part was understandable. However, when my husband politely asked for an exchange, the front staff member, Testiny, reacted very rudely. She snatched the pizza and angrily threw it in the trash, as if it were our fault.
The rest of the staff was very polite and respectful, which made this behavior stand out even more. Iβm not sure what was going on with her that day, but this kind of attitude is unacceptable. A little customer service training or time off could help, because behavior like this can seriously damage a companyβs reputation. Itβs not the companyβs fault at all so Iβm giving 5 starts but she deserves worse than negative. Peace and loveβ

βIβm gonna give this place 5 starts because everyone is so so nice and friendly never had issues. But there is this one employee that does work there and I guess sheβs recent or maybe Iβve never seen her there often but she is so rude to me! She did not want to help me when I pulled up I even smiled at her and she walked by me and helped the car behind me instead. Another employee had to come up and ask me if Iβve been helped, I almost felt like it was personal Iβve always been nice to her and always get a cold shoulder. Sheβs even given me wrong items in the past when Iβd ask for a certain items. Iβve tried calling to complain but no answer, Iβll try calling again. (Edit: Iβve found on their Facebook page that her name is Rhonda)β
βStop there to get sodas and snack usually but I finally stopped by to rent the kayaks and grab some bait, the owners were really nice and held one of the kayaks for us while I ran errands. The kayaks are only $15 and $10 and hour which is super cool compared to other places.β
βI favor this location more than the others due to how many gas pumps there are and how spacious they are. The employees are nice and the store is clean and has a good variety of food/drink.β
βWhile this store seems to be understaffed, as per usual in America, the employees there are usually helpful, Today I urgently needed to buy some Primatene Mist (inhaler),. I interrupted a young man from h is pricing tasks in one of the aisles. He was very friendly and walked me to the area where the Primatene was stocked. I was shocked at how high the retail cost is. Especially at the end of the month, my low-income budget is almost wiped out, so I did not even know if I ought to be buying this one item.
I decided to pay the full retail, since I really need to be able to breathe. We tried to use my OTC benefit card through my United Healthcare Medicare coverage, but the card could not be used through the payment machine. I told him that I had $8.79 remaining benefits for the month of December. Since we could not use the 'normal' way, he suggested that we see if we could use an alternative method. It worked! He processed a refund for the full amount that I had just approved on the machine, since I did not see any other option prior to him coming up with the alternative method to get the payment to go through.
This was not a quick transaction, but it worked, and rather than paying the $32.49 total, instead the cost ended up being. $22.74! AT no point in this process did I get the feeling that he was in a huge hurry to get it done. Even with customers waiting to be helped behind me, his calmly continued to be helpful and patient until we were done.
The kind of helpfulness that this young man demonstrated was exemplary, and so rare these days. In helping me today, he was not only a cashier, he was much more than that.
He seemed to really care about my predicament, and he did more than just the minimum, more than simply taking the customers' money and not even attempting to find alternatives. When I come across a person like him, I just want to hug him. It is so rare these days to really receive care, especially from young people who all too often act as if any customer request is an imposition that they clearly seem to resent.
I am very grateful for young people like him! And knowing that CVS has an employee like him, it makes me more inclined to shop in this store in the future.

βSue and Rick (owners) are amazing.
First off, I DONβT FISH but spend way too much time here.
This Bait and Tackle shop is also the unofficial lottery spot in San Angelo.
I often frequent this location to purchase hundreds of dollars in lottery tickets.,. And unlike gas stations, Sue and Rick know how to lotto. Easiest (quickest) way to Lotto in all of Concho.
The place is a local treasure. Amazing beer selection also!
Note - place is ran by locals and is popular amongst locals. Hours (like many places in San Angelo) may vary depending on the owners schedule/availability.

βJust moved to the area. The young girl that works here is super friendly. The prices are fairly reasonable but mostly high. The convenience is satisfactory. Good place.β

βI had looked everywhere for a particular brand of makeup. Came by this store today. Customer service rep Rosa not only found what I was looking for, but suggested other products as well. Made me feel like she was glad I was there and glad to be helping me. What a great employee.β

βThe pharmacy staff was very accomodating. When my insurance wouldn't cover my meds they had cards similar to GoodRX that dropped my price from over $100 down to $6. I was blown away. This was the 24hr pharmacy. The store itself is very clean and the cashiers are very friendly.β

βThis store has been around for a while and I just moved to this side of town. Gas is competitive which is good. Itβs rare that somewhere in town has a lower price. Customer service is always great. The employees are polite.β
