Haha now day’s you have Karen’s who can’t say what they want to say when they’re there at the store they have to go Vent all over on a review . I don’t know about making you feel uncomfortable I have never felt uncomfortable even at that I take my dog and to the store and they welcome us with open arms. my dog and I Have never felt uncomfortable at this store. And well sorry do you blame them for following people around when they’ve been hit so many times by thieves . I would do the same thing to . I don’t even work there and I still follow people around I make sure that the store is good so that way the workers don’t have to do it. you get these lowlife people who walk into the store and open things as if they’re going to paying for it. they eat it they walk around the store and then they leave it there for the workers to clean up that is not their job. So cut them some slack man and just chill ? Hey buddy I got You Wink Wink ?”

“One of the cleanest DG’s I’ve ever seen. Usually you go into a DG with fear that the stock may cave in on you and you’ll be trapped forever. This one is kept clean as possible. The staff is nice as possible. The customers might stab you. But I’m pretty sure the staff would at least call 911 to get you help before posting it on Facebook Live. Still have to say one of the best Dollar Generals on the South Side of San Antonio.”

They do have a good variety of stuff food snacks other things I think all in all they just need a bigger building if they could expand. They're in a good location.”

Please people be good to the worker's that show up to serve you. Everyone is short staffed and struggling enough to put up with nonsense.The store was very clean . “Was able to find a few essentials. No water though.. Been without water at home since Sunday so paper dishware has been a necessity at least for now. Repurposing Snow melted down as a means to fill toilet tank to flush.. Boiling to use as dish water and to keep home as clean as possible. God Bless everyone ?”

The staff was nice and patient but seemed liked they could give less than two sh*ts about the job. Prices are high, selection is great but sketchy area and the building looks run down.”

“I stopped at a Dollar Tree the other day. Those that know me are not surprised. I normally stop at a Dollar tree prior to doing my shopping for the week. What is surprising, is the Dollar Tree I stopped at, Store Number 08067, located at 8610 South Zarzamora Street San Antonio Texas was perfect. This store did not have anything out of place. It looked like something out of a magazine. Every spot on the shelves were full and aligned perfectly. There was nothing scattered about, or mixed on the shelves or the floor. It looked as it had just opened after a full night of major work performed to shoot a commercial. This was my first time in this store location, but you can bet it won't be my last.To the Crew working at Store Number 08067 nice job, and please keep up the good work. I can see that you all take great pride in the job you are doing.”

“I went in for cat supplies but, found that they had very little mdse for cats/kittens.I did grab a few other items but, nothing that requires pictures.The store is a little cluttered and hard to navigate because of this BUT, this has always been the case here at this store.Only 1 person working this morning, so luckily it wasn't during peak busy hours.It's in my barrio, and it's closer than Family Dollar, so probably will come back when in a rush.”

“The 2 older, male Managers are great at this store. If theres an issue with incorrect pricing or unmarked or mis-marked items, they will fix it. Great customer svc from them. Most of the employees work hard except for 1. She likes to hide and constantly walks away from her register to go visit her boyfriend thats hanging out in the store. Seen her do this many a time. I spend lots of money here and stay here shopping for at least 2-3 hrs. I dont go to HEB anymore nor Walmart for my groceries. This store has marked down their prices on alot of the products lately so thats a plus. Great store. Very clean too. Kudos to those 2 Managers and hard working employees.”

“7/25/23- I would like to update my review. The store manager Tangela, personally reached out to me and sincerely apologized on behalf of the employee. She made me feel acknowledged and heard, which I appreciated very much. I did go back to the store with my children and Tangela made sure we had a pleasant shopping experience. She made it clear that this will not happen again to me or anyone else. I can see how much she truly values her position and this company. Thank you, Tangela.7/20/23 1star-This employee shouted at me and my 6 year old daughter when we walked into the store at 9:50 “FIVE MINUTES!!” When it in fact was not 5 mins till closing. She then proceeded to shout from across the store “WE NEED TO CLOSE!!!” After about 3 mins of us looking for what we needed. Then she followed us and continued to shout they were closed at 9:57 and that I need to hurry up. I started to record because she was scaring my daughter and making her extremely nervous and to also show how she was acting towards a customer that just needed to pop in for a quick snack and baby diapers. On my video you can hear her phone alarm go off at 10pm when I was already checking out at the register. I’d like to warn others about how this store treats their customers and how their core values mean absolutely nothing to them. This rude, and disrespectful woman should be ashamed of herself. What’s even worse is that this isn’t the first time this same woman has acted with disgust with her job. She always has an attitude anytime I’ve visited this establishment. Shame on this store for continuing to allow her to work here.”
