Guadalupe Lumber is an old school hardware and lumber store, not a big franchise. It is a local hardware store for building materials, tools, lawn and garden supplies, paint, electrical, plumbing and more. The store features popular products, competitive pricing and affordability. It has a wide variety of items and carries products for houses built 50-60 years ago that bigger stores do not have. The service is friendly, helpful and exceptionally knowledgeable. The experience is good with a quick and simple refund process and no long wait to pay. There is plenty of parking and the mood in the shop is old school and neat. They have plenty of items, though they may not carry every specific item like flashing, pneumatic nails, or chalk paint.
Looks like big box companies have the upper hand. Looking around it's really slow here but they're trying to stay open. They have great prices on plywood and potting soil. The employees and courteous and smile when they thank you for you patronage. Hope they stay open for as long as they can. I appreciate them.
