About Hertz Car Rental - San Antonio - Loop 410 West
Hertz Car Rental in West San Antonio offers a wide selection of vehicles, including luxury and sports cars, SUVs, EVs, vans, and trucks. Experiences at this location vary. Some customers report very helpful service, with staff described as incredibly polite, knowledgeable, and skillful, leading to great experiences with brand new cars. The company can be accommodating, such as issuing another vehicle if there is an issue with the first rental.
However, other reviews mention significant difficulties. These include very slow pickup processes, problems with customer service being unreachable after returning a car, and delays in refunding deposits, especially when paying with a debit card. On at least one occasion, a customer was left without a car during a vacation, which created a bitter taste despite attempts to make it right.

Gabe and Willis were an amazing help in facilitating our family trip with some minivans. I can’t thank you both enough for supporting us and standing by your word. Thank you so much once again, both minivans were clean and spacious for our roadtrip.
