I selected this place due to the reviews, therefore I went to see the location for my final decision. Owner of this place responded to all my messages quick, with out delay. Before the event, I was contacted by all people that worked for the event, they were all professional and fair, ex. DJ, catering, table arrangement, ETC.... During the event the owner and his staff had the mentality as, customer is always right, which means me as the customer. Anything I needed they were there and quick to assist me. I was allowed to bring in some pizza for the kids, servers helped. Everything was up to what any one expects from an event.”

“Decent hotel. Beds weren’t super comfortable and for a newer hotel it’s already showing a lot of wear & tear in the rooms, so could definitely use better upkeep.
My room’s a/c never really got cold and the room had a weird musty smell to it.
But might stay here again if it were convenient.
The breakfast was hands down the best breakfast I’ve had Marriott’s Select Properties. (The lady making the food was also very sweet!)”

“Cinemark movies McAllen 6 has a seniors program. I'm 72 and she's 83 and we saw a movie, the both of us for less than $4. We didn't buy any food or drink so they didn't make any money on us but I have bought plenty in the past from other theaters. It was as pleasant experience the theater was clean and free of clutter. There were six recent release movies. I'll be going back, you better believe.”

“We went to watch Freakier Friday. My husband and I thought it was super funny. (with a lot of refrences to the original) We were having a good time until a karen harrassed us and complained about us laughing to the management. We've been to this theatre so many times. We saw the lost boys in 2022, Nosferatu in 2024 and many more. This YT woman was so out line. The staff handled it very well, and respected us despite her accusations. I will return just because they were very professional about the situation.”

“Reguardless the bad experience with the hosts., i loved the place its beautiful facility and all littl girls and moms fell in love with the spa. It was my first time throwing a party there so i did not know how it was going to go about. Little tip to share ,ask for how the party will take place as in schedule ,that way if you are ordering food you know what time to order it an so you can know what time the food will be served. . I ordered pizza drom Dominos literally next door to this place. If moms from invites will be staying you might want to have drinks, food & desserts ect for them as well for the hosts. I had 5 hosts wish i would have thought about all this beforehand. Also would like to share i forgot the name of the girl in charge but the owner shows up introduces herself to me then introduces the girl in charge from the 5hosts. Owner and main host in charge amazing customer service , super friendly not only to me but to the little girls as well as they are arriving. My invites age ranged from 3-9year olds. Total of 12 girls. The other hosts not so friendly one of them rolled her eyes constantly when trying to gather the girls for the cake., or from one activity/station to another..,keep in mind its a kids setting and for them its exciting, its thrilling so ofcourse they will be loud ect. No one was actually destroying or doing any damage other than being too excited to stay quiet. Im assumming the ones rolling her eyes does not have kids., hence the easily frustrated attitude she carried throughout the whole party. Non Of them smiled at the moms as they arrived or at the little girls to make everybody feel welcomed ect thank goodness all my invites were not timid or shy and were able to enjoy the party regardless the vibes the hosts were giving. I would consider either teaching the hosts more customer service and how to be around a kids party not to mention i did over hear talking amongs themselves how they do not get paid enough so i guess if i had given a big tip to each one from the beginning maybe they would have acted differently. I love kids i work with kids myself and im always a whooe vibe ineracting with them., but i know its not for every one. As to the place it is BeAUTIFUL girls n moms still had fun !”
“I would always book my out of town visitors and guests at the Echo but since they shut down there excellent restaurant I book them elsewhere. If they ever reopen the restaurant with the same quality as before I will resume using their services.”
