We showed up at this shop with only about an hour left before they were closing, and they were incredibly kind and understanding about our situation.

“Excellent shop with great people. They aren't fully open yet, but I called late one afternoon needing some urgent help. They told me to swing by without hesitation. I arrived and the facility was clean, the employees were knowledgeable, and very transparent. Was able to get in and out in less than an hour. They even made multiple follow up contacts after the fact to make sure everything was good with my vehicle. Highly recommend!”

“I went to a long time well known Fulshear Tire And Auto, a good year company, to take one of my autos in to see about the check engine light. They came back to me, saying I needed a new Cadillac converter and some various other components they quoted me $3400 to fix it. I called the Mazda dealer for quote on the catalytic converter and it was $1000 less than what mechanic was going to charge me. Needless to say I was p-off and will not be going back after 12 years of using them.
I searched reviews for some local auto shops near my house and saw that 1463. Auto Repair had excellent reviews. Took the Mazda back up there and left it for him to take a look what needed to be done and he said it was the catalytic converter and would send me a quote over. He also mentioned the rear brakes drums were worn and needed to be replaced once completed. It cost me $2300 to fix the Cadillac converter and the rear brakes. Alex is the owner and founder of the shop. He takes pride in customer service and not ripping people off, which is the primary reason he started his own business because he didn’t like the way Other shops operated. I was very pleased with Alex work and the cleanliness of his shop.”

“My wife and I purchased a truck for our daughter that needed some love. With that being said Johnny and his team addressed every concern that we had. Not only that ,they also saved us money by being honest. They mentioned to me that while they’re disassembling something because of the age of the vehicle that this component may break, or that may be damaged, which I completely understand. With that being said when I went to go pick up my vehicle I noticed that my bill was less than the estimate that they provided me. That’s because they were able to get certain components off my vehicle without them breaking. They could’ve easily charged me for new parts and I would’ve never known. This is the shop to go to.I find myself referring to them to any and everybody.( We all know how difficult it is to find a honest, ethical mechanic and at this shop that’s exactly what you find.)”

“Twenty plus years ago my nephew bought a 1979 MGB V-8 that 5R Restorations had built. I flew in to Texas to complete the purchase and drive the car back to New Jersey. Initially I was very excited about the purchase but when I finally saw it in person I became extremely excited. It was beautiful. Ron picked me up at the airport, took me to the car, we completed the deal and then he took me to my friends house where I would spend the evening. I didn't want to leave the MG outside over night at my friends so Ron volunteered to pick me up the next morning so that I could pick up the MG at his shop and then head north...That's how it all played out. I took '''mostly''' back roads all the way to NJ.... What a good memory. Here I am 20 years later finally leaving feedback on that purchase. Well, our opinion hasn't changed. The car is still owned by my nephew and the car is still beautiful. It's almost a family member at this point. Thanks Ron !”

“Took our 2008 Acura MDX to the shop since the AC wasn’t working properly even after charging the freon. Dropped the car off in the morning and Keith took care of it immediately as the problem was solved and repair prices are very good and affordable.
