“100/10 do recommend. I’ve now been to Dillons a few times over the past couple of years. I recently went in to have some spark plugs and a coil replaced and get my inspection. I dropped my car off the night before and they had it done just after lunch. I drive the car home and no issues. I ran errands and notice my car was acting funny and my check engine light came on. I called them and they told me bring it back right away. I showed up about 20 min later and they got me right in and figured out what the issue was. They ordered the part and I was on my way in under an hour. I cannot say enough good things about Dillons. Honest, dependable, and reasonably priced.”

“From calling them to get a quote and set up an appointment, to taking my car in and having it worked on, to picking it up, every aspect of the service was great. My mini Cooper needed a thermostat housing assembly replaced, they were able to quote me a reasonable price for the part and the labor.
I do like working on my own vehicles at times, but the mini Cooper engine is so compact I would rather pay somebody professional for the labor, which is well worth it.
I appreciate the attention to detail with making sure the parts were working correctly. Very courteous staff very helpful technicians. And now that I live in Katy, I will be coming to Smith’sAutomotive for any vehicle needs.

“I was told some false information by a different mechanic shop and came here for a second opinion. Paul and Brandon and the front desk were very patient and willing to explain everything that was wrong (very little) and told me that the other shop was trying to sell me things that I did not need in order to make a quick dollar. Despite my clear inexperience, they did not attempt to charge me for anything and let me make all the decisions. I would highly, highly recommend coming here for honest, great service.

“I recently brought my car to this NTB/Mavis location for four new tires and an oil change. I booked the appointment online for the tires and received a 50% off coupon for an oil change for purchasing four tires.
When I arrived for my original appointment, the tires had not yet arrived. The associate apologized and explained that tire orders can sometimes take longer to reach the store than the website suggests. I probably should've realized this, but the website made it seem like they were in stock. This part of the online booking process could definitely use a review.
That said, the team at the store handled everything extremely well. They rebooked my appointment and told me the tires should arrive the following day. They also promised to call me before I made another trip.
Around noon the next day, Julio, the store manager, personally called to let me know the tires had arrived and that they would be ready for me as soon as I got there.
Because of my work schedule, I needed a later appointment, and they were more than accommodating. Once I arrived, the team was fantastic—knowledgeable, straightforward, efficient, and very easy to work with. Even with four new tires, an oil change, and a needed alignment, they got everything handled pretty quickly.
I spent a good amount of money on this visit, but the pricing seemed very reasonable compared with what I had seen elsewhere.
Great team, great service, and a special shout-out to Julio. I appreciate you taking the time to chat with me while I waited!

“Garry rebuilt my transmission on my 99 Sierra back in 2010, rebuilt my transmission on my 2016 Silverado during peak Covid, parts were hard to come by at the time and on back order. “I’m updating my review to highlight how responsive the owner, Brian, was to my concerns.
I brought my vehicle in for a diagnosis and was charged a $190 fee. After the issue was identified, I approved repairs totaling just over $4,000, which were completed at pickup. The diagnostic fee was charged separately and not applied toward the repair total. When I called later to contest this, I was informed it was company policy and would not be adjusted. Given the size of the repair in a competitive market, this didn't align with my expectations for value, and I had decided to take my business elsewhere.
However, after seeing my concerns in my Google review, Brian first tried to call me, and when I did not answer, he followed up via email. He took the time to consider my concerns, understood my perspective as expressed in my review, and ultimately decided to do what he believed was the right thing by issuing a refund for the fee.
I believe in calling balls and strikes. While the initial experience was a miss from a customer service perspective (the repair work itself was handled properly), Brian’s leadership and willingness to step in directly transformed this into a very positive outcome for me It is rare to see that level of investment in a brand. It is rare to see this level of responsiveness shown by an owner.”

“I have been taking both of my vehicles to Mason Auto for over a year, possibly over 2. They listen to my concerns, and perform comprehensive, detailed inspections of my vehicles whenever I bring them in for repairs or maintenance, including photos and videos. Jocelyn then calls a little after sending the inspection report to go over each item on it and explain what they are finding, what the mechanic recommends and why he is recommending it. Additionally, they prioritize the repairs for you in order of urgency. Most recently I had just selected the items needing immediate attention for my Colorado, but Jocelyn called and explained that I might want to swap one item from the future attention column to avoid the possibility of something failing and being stranded.
From what I have experienced, they perform quality work, and if there are any concerns after picking up your vehicle they will listen to your concerns and verify their repairs to make sure everything is operating correctly. Their knowledge and professionalism is outstanding. They know what they are capable of repairing, and if it's outside their scope they will let you know up front. Although, I've only requested one repair with this outcome so far, regarding the operation of my car's sunroof.
If it isn't too far for you to drive and you're looking for a trustworthy mechanic shop I highly recommend using Mason Auto for your maintenance and repairs!”
