“It was a great venue for the annual Empty Bowls fundraiser which benefits the Houston Food Bank. The Gulf Coast Woodturners Association participates every year and demonstrated turning wood bowls. Ceramic bowls and glass bowls are also donated to the fundraiser by artists.”
“I celebrated my baby shower this past weekend, and the waitstaff were amazing! They provided excellent service and greeted guests as they arrived. The ballroom was spotless the entire time and beautifully decorated. The DJ played great music and took our song requests. I definitely enjoyed this ballroom and will be back.My family will not stop complimenting how beautiful the ballroom is my family and I left satisfied.”

“Contracted POP event space for a last minute event and they were happy to accommodate us for our date. Upon arrival they were short a few chairs and 2 tables and within 20mins we had everything wee needed including the linens and chair set ups. Chris and Al were super helpful and even offered to help us set up as there were only 2 of us setting up. Small things that we didn't have, if Chris had, he was happy to give, which was very much appreciated. Timeliness, service, support....overall great experience and we plan to continue utilizing this space for our future events!”

“I was there for the Juneteenth Houston Press Conference and Kickoff. I love the EB. I wish we had something like it in my community. Very nice, very well kept, friendly staff. The finger that's they passed looked really good. I only ate a deviled egg and week drummette, but both were delicious. I asked about rental process. I'd like to do an event there. There was another event happening downstairs as well.”

The coordinator was amazing he stayed on top of everything and was very attentive throughout the event. Our guests also kept telling us how delicious the food was it was the chicken and pasta. “Love to see moribund churches being repurposed into something beneficial to the community!!! When a friend had a play here, we jumped at the chance to come and show support! The place is still very much looking like a church on the outside (the sign is just a banner for now), but the space is very large and there are numerous bathrooms, which are both huge pluses! Our event had a bar and food for sale. The sound system was awesome! There were many volunteers to help, but getting in and getting tickets needed a bit of work. Overall we had a great time here & recommend the space for all sorts of events!”
