“Quick stop on island. Fully stocked grocery store. No need to stop at Port Isabel HEB and waste an hour of your time when you can spend a fraction of time here for not much more. Yes, things cost a little bit more here but remember that you are getting them sort of out of a luxury. And if you are already spending hundreds of dollars on a condo in SPI, time is already money so you might as well spend a little bit more here and get in and out. You're talking maybe 5-10% more on the final tally, some things are the same price that I buy at home. For the last 5 years that we have gone to SPI we have shopped at Blue Marlin. They have everything we have needed so far and we come from a Metroplex with a very competitive grocery store scene (WinCo, HEB, Kroger, Albertson's, Central Market, Brookshire's all around us). Will continue shopping here.”
