“I love, love this place. In a time when you can get anything online, stores like this one are like walking back in time. They have a wide variety of items for all ages. I only wish their book selection was a bit bigger. Prices seem reasonable, if you keep in mind you are supporting a small business. I loved no one was after us asking if we needed help and we were left to glance around.”

“My dad bought my daughter a stuffed bunny for her 1st birthday. She has loved it since the moment she saw it, and has slept with it every night since. His name is Snuffy, which was my dad’s nickname. Snuffy has been on planes, cruise ships, overnighted via UPS…where we go, he has gone. My daughter is now 9, and my dad passed away this year. Her letter to Santa only asked for him to fix Snuffy, because after 8 1/2 years he was plenty worse for wear, with a few holes and missing stuffing.
My daughter’s elf took Snuffy that night (wink, wink), and I began trying to figure out how on Earth I was going to pull this off. The Doll Hospital is the ONLY place around that even does this kind of work, and Dr. Mary Ann was already slammed with projects this close to Christmas. She told me she couldn’t take anymore on, then she listened to my story and told me she would do the best that she could, but couldn’t make any promises.
I had my fingers crossed that we would be able to get Snuffy back by Christmas Eve, but I received a call from Dr. Mary Ann six days after leaving him in her care, telling me he was feeling much better and was ready to be picked up.
When she handed him to me a few hours later, she told me, “Santa always has to come through.”

Snuffy looks so much better than I could have hoped. Not only is he fresh and clean, this is the first time he’s been able to sit up by himself in years, and you can’t even tell that there were ever any holes in him. There was so much love in this, and I can’t express how much it meant that she did this for us. She made my daughter’s Christmas, and for that I am so incredibly grateful. I’m not crying, you’re crying ?

“Me and a bunch of friends came for a birthday for this huge nerd we know. Had a great time. The staff were cool about parents with kids, and let us order pizza, no problem. I think the pizza is pretty standard for game stores, but I don't know about the kids. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and very chill.”
