“Scott is amazing! So helpful and informative! This other guy with a mustache that was blonde that was helping at the register was incredibly rude with a nasty attitude and kept disrespecting and disrupting my pleasant conversation with Scott. Scott is the best Barnes and noble employee I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. The other guy needs some lucky charms in his life. Scott and his dog are wonderful! Please keep it up Scott! Thank you for making my day!”

“Best comic book store in Houston filled from wall to wall with collectables from every genre, the have a great collection of dnd books and mini figs, starwars, DC and marvel, disney, sports, cards and memorabilia iff your inner nerd is screaming to be let free definetly a place to go parking lot is kinda hidden behind the building I actually drove past the entrance gate and had to take a lap of shame around to get back into, very easy gate to miss in other words, thought it was also very cool that the guy who was working there had been there for he said 50 years so he knows his shit (appoligies for missing his name you were great though)”

“It's got quite the selection of Comics and Board games. The Comics I'd say average about $4 each. Some rare ones are closer to $10 each. The board games aren't my thing so I don't know their prices.”

“First and foremost, this review is a long time coming. I want to start with a quick story that happened recently, I purchased an item from them, upon getting it home and going in for the first transformation, I realized it wasn't the right figure, they had 2 different versions of the same character from 2 brands, and they got mixed up. I simply went and got the correct item without issue, then I got a message saying that the item I got was missing some accessories, which it was indeed only because they were in the other figures box. Again, went and got them without issue. This speaks to the honesty and integrity of Juan and everyone here. I've known about this particular store since it was at its first location way back when. In the years since, this place has only gotten better with age. Juan, Bun, and others have made this place inviting, fun, and reasonable. They don't price their stock egregiously just to make a buck and they're cool people too! If you're looking for anything from MOTU, Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Transformers, and much more! This is your spot!”

“Had the best time in this store today. I went in looking for a celestial themed baby toy, and the staff helped me right away. I wanted to stay there all day, the store was filled with so many toys that I dont see very often or hadn't seen since I was a kid. I highly recommend this store.”

“Really fun LEGO Store at The Galleria! We picked up the Shrek and Donkey set and the orange car set, and both were definitely challenging to build, but that made them even more fun and satisfying to finish. The employees were friendly and there was a great selection. My only complaint is that the store is way too small for how popular it is. It was packed with people and pretty difficult to move around. LEGO should definitely give this Houston location a bigger space!”

“I truly love this location, it’s my little escape ? They always have what I’m looking for (and somehow what I didn’t know I needed too ?), and the staff is incredibly helpful every time I go. It’s cozy, calming, and honestly one of my favorite places to be.”

“Such a great store! My son decided he wanted to start reading comics and we had no idea where to start. They were sooo helpful. Highly recommend!”

“Austin was an absolute delight. What really stood out was how attentive he was; he noticed we were struggling with a bag that was way too small for our items before we even had to ask. He quickly stepped in and offered us a larger one, which made everything much much easier. It’s those small, considerate actions that make a big difference, and Austin really nailed it. He was observant, helpful, and genuinely cared about making sure we were well taken care of. That level of attention doesn’t go unnoticed!! We appreciate you, Austin!”

“Down the street and to the right. Careful Google maps directions are little confusing given the interstate frontage road, but you will get there After some great BBQ while in Houston, I got directions to G&G Model Shop. Holy grail find! A wonderful small shop that started back in the 1940's. The shelves stocked with one of the largest paint supplies and scratch building plethora I have come across. Wood beadboard, shiplap, plastic and metal sections...in stock! Then the displays on top the shelves...outstanding modeling by the patrons! They had a small aisle of HO trains. I over heard two patron ladies talking with the clerk about their father in the car who would love to run trains again. While my service was quick and simple (keeping in mind it has to travel on an airplane carry-on) his support and advise to them shows a place that hopefully makes it another 80 years. I picked up some HOn3 track sweeps and link chain packets. I would strongly recommend this place to any modeler.”

“Staff was helpful and friendly. Even while busy checking new products in they had time for questions and to chat taking time to help me find me the items I was looking for they did stock and going so far as to look up where I could find or possibly find items Bedrock itself didn't stock. Fantastically organized into clearly defined sections. Even with my questions and looking around I was able to get in and out in under 20 minutes”
