“I live in Briar 6 miles from store and have another one much closer, 2 miles, but go to this one, most of the time, because it has produce bananas, apples, cucumbers, packaged baby carrots, tangerines, etc. and the store is generally clean and stocked for the most part. Parking lot is well marked not like the one close to my house on FM 730 they’re in Briar but *both stores are clean and have nice helpful employees*. You can get a bigger selection at Albertson’s in Azel but the DG typically has everything I need to sustain me in life and I recommend you go to either one of these locations. Handicap parking spaces and access, buggies and baskets. They have a pretty big selection of cosmetics, an aisle dedicated to Auto, paper towels, TP. ect..
They just about have a little bit of everything and at a discounted price compared to Albertsons, which has a much larger overhead and is a great grocery store to go to, but to drive 8 miles in and pay a little more or drive 2 miles or 6 miles and pay less I choose less which is my choice. I recommend going to the store and hope this helps.”
“I want to tip my hat of to the night lead Misty. Misty is a sweet, honest person. Two days ago I purchased a few items from DG and my son forgot them. I called at night and she was nice enough to hold them for 2 days cause I was not able to go back. Others would of lied and said I never left anything behind etc. So we need more people like Misty as she is a great candidate for this prominent company. Misty is a keeper..”

“If you like mexican meat markets, here's a great place. Reasonable prices for meat and the quality is good. My favorite thing to buy are the marinated fajita meat, it's awesome on the grill. They also sell the best homemade tamales, just have to place your order in early...they sell out quickly. On sat/Sunday they have great menudo as well to go...I'm very lucky to have this place close to me.”
