Hardware Stores near Springtown, TX

“First went to get paint match done, but had to wait for about 20 minutes at the paint desk while Steve worked the front cashier station (he’s the only one working that could help me with Paint). Pooor guy had to work at the front while 3 other employees stood around talking and when he was done he came and helped me.
Second went to front desk to add a couple pieces of wood to my order and pay. They carry 2x2x8 wood but was out of stock. Said they had did have 1x2x8 in stock, I explained it needed to be actual 1x2 (not nominal sizes) and the lady said yes, so paid for it and went around back to pick it up and found out it was NOT 1x2 but instead it was furring strips which is 0.75” x 1.5” I do t mind buying bigger and cutting down BUT I can’t add wood to a piece that’s too small. I went back inside and requested a refund since they didn’t have the actual size I needed. They said I had to go to Home Depot or Lowe’s in Lake Worth…”

I’m not sure if the first time I went in the store was an off day but I have gone back a few times now and the service has been great and friendly.”

“Wow, great hardware store, and more! From the street, it appears to be a small mom and pop screws and nails store. Once inside, the friendly, knowledgeable staff can help you find just what you need, even if you hadn't a clue. Good prices and a truly amazing amount of hardware and stuff. Went in for some deck screws and left with armloads of goodies! The only negative in the shopping experience is the parking...kinda on a hill, but my parking brake held! Great store.”

“This is a really nice hardware store. It is older and has a lot of items you can’t find just anywhere. I like to stop in from time to time just to browse when I’m in town. The prices on some items may be a lil higher but it is a nice country store with nice people running it.”

They helped me out tremendously, and they even offered to stay a few minutes after hours when I was running up against the clock. You don't get a lot of supply houses these days with these gentlemen who go above and beyond.
