“My family and I visited the Vietnam Buddhist Center in Houston during Lunar New Years in February 2026. This temple is so beautiful and huge! There’s so many beautiful Buddhist statues and even physical descriptions of the history of Buddhism translated in both English and Vietnamese. During mass for New Years, there were multiple performances from their Lion Dance team and local singers. We enjoyed our visit at this temple and would visit again whenever we’re in the area.”

“My family and I joined Word Of Restoration in 2012, we joined because Apostle Perry had a sense of humor and he operated in excellency. He always until this day speak about Faith ( our church was built on faith) and my life has truly truly change because now I have rich faith. My God owns it all and so do I. Come give WORIC a visit one Sunday 7:30a or 9:30a and see for yourself. Oh yea there are many areas where you can serve as a volunteer partner. The outreach ministry is a happy place to get started.”

“This place is peaceful, quiet, serene, and ideal for meditation and contemplation. It is a traditional Oriental style sightseeing place for tourists. The English Dharma classes on Sunday mornings serve newcomers as well as veteran scholars and meditation practitioners. They also have a nature-theme branch retreat center in Hempstead, Texas. “We actually visited River Oaks Baptist School for a ladies 7/8th grade middle school soccer game between Second Baptist School and River Oaks Baptist School; we did not visit the church.The combi soccer/football field was super nice. It looked brand new and I was impressed with the field.There was plenty of parking around the perimeter of the field on the North and West sides and there was plenty of spectator seating for both home and away fans.That said, the spectator seating, while covered, was aluminum benches and did not seem to match with the capital spend of the field itself. The field was first class but the spectator seating was simple “aluminum” benches.Also, traffic in the area is almost always horrific. To get into or out of the area can take a lot of time so plan ahead for tons of traffic and slowdowns. But what else do you expect in the landlocked River Oaks, Greenway, Galleria, near Memorial area of Houston.”

The men's fellowship meet weekly to go through the entire Bible yearly.
Our kids learn greatly from the scriptures rather than just coloring and crayons and crafts. And they have fun while doing this.

“My visit to the temple was a very peaceful and positive experience. Everyone there was extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and comforting, and I felt very welcomed even as a visitor.
