“I come to this Whole Foods weekly, and I love the deli and the meat department. Tony is always friendly and helps me pick out the best cut of meat. In addition, I appreciate how some of the deli items are not cooked with seed oils. Although they need some improvement in that area, I noticed that they are changing and cooking things with olive oil.”

As for almond milk for my coffee, there are brands with just 2-3 ingredients.”

“FYI, this is the Smoothie King at the Galleria mall food court. TIP: Ask them to omit the stevia -- the fruit smoothies don't need it! Fruit is already sweet! Tbh, I always scoff at Smoothie King and skip it but I figured I'd grab one of their smoothies while at the mall for a dose of nutrients. I was pleasantly surprised -- the smoothies were pretty good. We tried the Spinach/Pineapple and the Daily Warrior. We opted out of the stevia -- it seemed unnecessary for fruit smoothies (maybe a veggie smoothie could benefit from it, idk). The sweetness levels were perfect without the stevia. Not sure why they feel the need to add it to all their smoothie offerings! Service was fast and friendly.”

“I used to shop at GNC when I was in college. It used to be my go-to place for vitamins and gym workout supplements. Then, I don't remember why I stopped. Just few days ago, I thought about buying some supplements. Then, GNC came to my mind. Lucky me, I didn't have to go far. There's one at Meyerland Plaza. I just finished shopping at Marshals and Ross, around the corner. The employee was polite. The store was organized. However, not everything had a price tag. I had to bring items to cashier to ask for price. Since the employee wasn't pushing for the membership, I will continue to shop here.”
