“I have shopped with GNC for over 30 years and recently moved to Humble/Atascosita area where I literally stumbled upon this location (Sunwood, I think) anyway I am so glad I did because Sunny the manager was an absolute pleasure to meet. He was very informative about the product I was looking for (NONI JUICE) and not only had it in stock but it was on sale and I received excellent customer service from him, which is rare nowadays! “I had an incredible experience at this Sprouts while picking up a DoorDash order. The entire team is amazing, but Emily truly went above and beyond!
My phone was about to die, and I was panicking because I couldn't scan the barcode to finish the order. Emily jumped in with some seriously impressive quick thinking—she used her own phone to take a picture of the barcode so she could scan it for me.

“The workers here are very knowledgeable. I spent a lot of money here, but it was well deserved! I got a bunch of herbs that help with overactive thyroid, my nervous system, and immune system. They have a wide range of herbs, homemade soaps, incense, crystals, bracelets, etc. I even bought some homemade soap for my sister with sensitive skin and she loves them. I bought a bunch of bracelets too, they are very cute. Their pots and tea containers are cute too!
All in all, being a customer of los cavazos was a very pleasant experience. I will be back!”

“It's been well over a decade since Whole Foods made its mark in Montrose and now it's become a regular haunt for me whenever I'm in the neighborhood. I have always made Whole Foods my choice grocer when it comes to their hot foods, bakery, flowers, and the occasional grocery run (#1). The store is clean, spacious, and has a spacious dedicated parking lot. The latter is an issue at some of the other stores, but there seems to always be spaces available here and the crowds are not as fierce as the once were. This has been the case for me even on the weekends and before any major holiday gathering. In terms of docking a star, it's been the little things over time: inconsistent service (#2), tough cake writing for the large chantily cakes, sometimes their hot foods station needs someone to wipe things down, and getting served behind the counter sometimes is a game of patience. These are little things, so I still come but they definitely don't go unnoticed. It's hard not to compare this location to its sister spot over in Upper Kirby, but I do think this works well for Montrose and the many inner-loopers who love the Whole Foods experience. ___________ (#1) When I want to channel my inner-Portland-organic-seeking-self while burning a hole in my wallet. (#2) A lot of associates don't seem to be all that knowledgeable on specific products versus general. When in doubt, use the self-checkout.”

“I want to take a moment to recognize the team at the Amazon Counter inside Whole Foods in Sugar Land.
In today’s world it’s unfortunately common to see people being impatient or even rude to service staff, especially when they’re just trying to do their jobs. What stands out about this team is that they remain consistently polite, professional, and helpful no matter what.
Every time I’ve used the Amazon return counter, the staff has greeted me with a smile, treated me with respect, and taken the time to clearly explain the process and make sure everything is handled properly. They keep things moving efficiently while still being courteous to every customer.
There is also one young man there who appears to be a supervisor or manager. His attitude is exceptional — always positive, always willing to help, and clearly leading by example. You can tell he genuinely cares about customer service and about supporting his team.
In fact, I was so appreciative one day that I tried to buy the team some cookies from the store as a small thank-you. They very politely thanked me but explained that it was against company policy to accept it — though they said they truly appreciated the thought. That kind of professionalism really says a lot about the people working there.
Working a return counter probably isn’t the easiest job, especially when dealing with frustrated customers, but this group handles it with professionalism, patience, and kindness.
They deserve the highest praise for maintaining such a positive attitude and providing excellent service in what can sometimes be a challenging environment. Well done, and thank you.”
“I had a really good experience at this GNC location. From the moment I walked in, the staff was attentive without being pushy. They greeted me, asked what I was looking for, and actually listened instead of trying to upsell me on a bunch of random products. The person helping me explained the differences between a few vitamins and supplements in a way that was easy to understand, which I appreciated.
One thing that really stood out is how well-stocked the store was. The shelves were full, organized, and it was easy to find what I needed. I did not run into the usual “out of stock” issue that happens at a lot of other places. Whether you are looking for protein, vitamins, pre-workout, or basic wellness products, this location seems to keep everything ready to go.”

How to you know exercise how to manage you know what I eat and like he also mentioned proportion is just something you just have to learn how to control I really wish I remember the person‘s name like I told her I don’t recall, but I also wanna give him a shout out. Amazing gentleman knew exactly what he was saying took his advice and I’m doing so well on my weight loss journey. I’ve lost probably about good 20 pounds or more so I’m very proud of myself kept on being consistent and just improving my health all overall thank you so much guys and the staff is so amazing always clean everything. I need to know. They try their best to give me the best knowledge that they know and they provide the best service amazing GNC .”

“They have some good deals on "clearance" section that just can't be beat, but paying for something that is literally expiring in a week for just 50% off seems high, since it's generally discarded after. Arturo helped me get a better deal by applying a 15% coupon. The rest of the items you need to buy almost in bulk to get better deal than what's available on Amazon, costco or even Walmart sometimes. Protein chips are priced 33% higher than most any grocery store. GNC is definitely a convenience and specialt vs great value. Great experience here tho.”
