“It's an older location but kept up very well. It is clean and comfortable and quiet. It's not the best bed you've ever slept on, but certainly not the worst. I didn't make it to the breakfast, but they do have one.”
“The pool & hot tub were unavailable which are the main 2 things I was looking forward to. However, we were compensated with 2 breakfast buffets. Breakfast is NOT included. The bed was extremely comfortable and the place is very welcoming and clean. Will definitely stay again.”

“If you're on a budget or other hotels are booked, Travel Lodge is a great alternative. Tucked away on the feeder, it's minutes away from fine dining and the major medical centers, including the VA. Don't be discouraged or fooled by the outside; the rooms are all clean and modern, with the comforts of a four or five star hotel.”
“I was surprised in the service accommodation and comfort of the rooms, walk in shower, firm beds, and convenient location. The price was descent. I will be back. Kudos to the Staff”
“We had a great stay at Residence Inn in Temple. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Loved the size of the room it was very clean. The breakfast was fresh and hot. Great waffles with eggs and bacon. We stayed 4 nights and it was very quite. We will stay every time we are in Temple, Tx”
“Nice and quiet. We got a pet room because we had our dog and he didn't spend any time sniffing around because he smelled other animals, and there was no pet hair anywhere in the room so we know the cleaning was good. It did need to be updated and the halls were really hot, but overall I'd say it was a nice stay. Friendly staff and good breakfast!”
“Target is close by along with a plethora of good restaurants. And it's right off the freeway (I-35). I don't notice the traffic noise much but I do notice the train though that sound doesn't bother me.The rooms are nice. Good water and water pressure. Dishes in the kitchen. The stove top did not cook well. Could be the pans weren't the right pans for the cook top. The fridge didn't shut properly so we had to be conscious about making sure it closed and didn't pop open. Just some minor issues.Maids came by every day to see if we wanted a cleaning. Everyone was friendly and helpful.”
“We really enjoyed our room.The maid did an awesome job. I really enjoyed the front desk lady! She was very helpful, very friendly. This being an older motel, is a nice, and safeplace to stay. If we are back in Temple and need a place to stay we certainly will stay at the Budget Inn!!!”

Porfirio at the front desk was amazing—super friendly, always smiling, and super helpful with anything I needed, whether it was room stuff or directions around town. He really made the whole experience feel welcoming.
The room was clean, cozy, and just what I needed to unwind after a long day of work. Plus, the location is super convenient, close to everything I needed—restaurants, local spots, you name it.

“Surprisingly clean in my room, despite the location. The bathroom looked spotless. Parking is kind of sparce, but worth the price. The convenience store next door is kind of shady, but convenient for snacks, etc. The TV was kind of hard to figure out, but okay. It kinda shows that the owners, and staff care a bit about the consumer's stay.”

“I just had to leave a raving review because I've already booked my return trip when I'm back for work! The front desk team, specifically Rylee, deserves all the recognition for going above and beyond my stay in town for business. The hotel itself has been undergoing renovations so it just smells and feels clean every step of the way. The bathroom in my room, specifically the shower could use some updates, but despite it being sold out each day during my stay it's quiet, the breakfast each day is plentiful, hot and fresh, and any time I'm in town I will make it an effort to book here every time! Hilton should be proud of the great people they have working here they truly care about their guests and hospitality!”
