Tri State Motel is a relatively cheap place to stay, currently under renovations. Rooms are pretty clean but very old, with stained beds and no microwave, coffee pot, cable, or WiFi. Management can be hard to get ahold of and accepts cash only. The neighborhood is not the greatest, with safety concerns advising guests to keep doors locked. It is within a 10-15 minute walk from downtown Texarkana. The ownership states many negative issues, like past bugs, have been addressed.

I was picking up a friend there. By the looks, it's not a terrible deal. And wifi had good reception.
