“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Whitehorse. I just had my 3rd baby and it’s been a minute since I’ve been in the gym. I’ve never done CrossFit before and was very hesitant. Absolutely everyone has welcomed me and made me feel like a part of the family immediately. No one even cares when I bring my baby who tends to cry during the workouts in fact people OFFER to help with him so I can do my lifting. It truly has been a huge blessing to me and I’m so grateful for the community and I’m feeling stronger by the week!”

“I came to BFT after years of CrossFit. As much as I loved the sport, I was feeling the wear and tear on my body - and I was over the heat. ?What I’ve found at BFT is exactly what I needed: variety, balance, and longevity.

Every day brings a new class format, which keeps things fresh and challenging. I really appreciate that strength is a priority here, especially at my age, where building and maintaining it is so important.

Beyond the workouts, the community is fantastic. The coaches and owners are not only knowledgeable but genuinely passionate about what they do, and it shows in the supportive, motivating environment they’ve built.

If you’re looking for a place that values smart training, strength, and community, I can’t recommend BFT enough. I love it!”

“Got to drop in for a class a week ago and had a blast! Great programming, good equipment, lots of space! All the folks I met were very welcoming too.

The only negative, and not too big for a single drop in, is that they are one of the few boxes that require your shirt to stay on during the workout. In high 90s heat and high 90s humidity.”

“My daughter has been with DJonks for almost two years and it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve made. He truly cares about his athletes. I’ve seen him treat every athlete the same whether they’re a college commit or an eight year. He has a special connection with my daughter and gets the most out of her. “After reading some mixed reviews, I wanted to share my experience. Front desk staff do change over time. The young lady who helped me when I first signed up was incredibly helpful and had excellent phone customer service. She’s no longer there, but the ladies there now are also great—always welcoming and cheerful. :-)

I have a bit of a membership commitment phobia, so I first tried Orangetheory during their Hell Week promo in October, which offered unlimited classes for a week. I went four times that week to get a feel for the classes, coaches, and overall environment.

I never felt pressured to join. I actually signed up on my own later and did it online. One thing I recommend is calling to ask questions and reading the fine print. For example, if you sign up for a class and don’t cancel within the 8-hour window, there is a late cancellation fee.

Even when I was just visiting and paying the drop-in rate, the staff treated me like a member. The workouts can feel intense or intimidating at first, especially if you’ve been out of the gym for a while and start comparing yourself to others—but everyone is on their own journey. Focus on your goals.

I paid the drop-in rate for a while before committing because I wanted to be sure I could make time for it. I started with the Elite membership and later upgraded. I have to admit—this is the best workout I’ve done.

In my first seven weeks, I dropped two sizes. People kept asking what I was doing, and all I did was send them my referral link. 😉

Four months in, I feel healthier, leaner, and stronger. It really does feel like a community here. I usually just come in, work out, and head home, but the coaches genuinely care about your form, give helpful cues, and explain the OTF metrics.

One suggestion: it would be great if there were member discounts for the OTF heart rate monitor. It’s recommended for tracking workouts, though not required. I didn’t get one until about three months in.

Another plus: the class schedule offers plenty of options, the coaches are great, and you can take classes at any Orangetheory location with your membership, which is super convenient.”

“Just meet Buster for the first time today and I gotta say he’s one of the hardest working staff members I’ve ever seen! I’ve never seen the squad rack more clean and organized before and if there’s a problem he’ll tackle it right away.
