I had no idea who Ken was or the Local Grocer, but now that we have met in community together at a recent Hippo Social Mixer in Hutto, I can't get enough of Ken, who he is, his passion, and oh yeah, his commitment to local foods, like really local. It matters to me and it matters to so many of us, to build a relationship to the men and women who are creating spaces to feed our health and wellness, not our disease! I have heard Ken does tastings in store and cannot wait to visit one in the near future! I went home with microgreens, love them and am planning my trip to the store soon!”
“Curbside is slow when I go. I usually buy a lot, but always the last to leave. Even cars that come after me get their groceries before I do. I prefer groceries from HEB, but they could have faster and friendlier curbside service.”

“I accidentally dropped my wedding ring in this store. I had driven all the way to Austin by the time I realized, and it had been a few hours before I got back. I asked if a ring had been found, and immediately the employee I spoke to gave it to me. I am so grateful to the folks at this store for their care and for their honesty. I wish I could rate them with 1000 stars.”

“great customer service from Isabel and Stephanie. love to see her as acting manager for the week. the workers seem a lot happier with her as manager. one of the workers a couple days ago told me they wish she was their manager all the time, and I can honestly see why. beats the chain smoking, flirting, rude manager they actually have! hopefully someone sees this and gives her the pat on the back she and everyone else that works there needs. the manager Pam is horrible at her job, I’ve worked retail for 10 plus years and she’s the most lazy and disorganized manager I’ve ever seen. time for a change at this location, because seasonal is never fully stocked and I was told she won’t let the workers do anything, she has to do it herself! hope she gets into some trouble for how she runs , or doesn’t run, this store!”
