“First of all the prices are reasonable and there's plenty to choose from, furniture, household goods, lots of gently used clothing and shoes. Plus their mission is amazing! Great organization.

“Amazing place!!! Very helpful staff and just a wealth of good knowledge for helping people who are blind or have impaired vision. Also it was so much easier than we thought it would ever be. We were thinking more doctors and tests but it was just in and out with what help we needed. Definitely recommend here if you have any vision problems and you want to see better for reading. “Beautiful and helpful staff. They overstepped a tiny bit but they were still super helpful in helping me get my glasses. The place is nice and organized and the waiting room has a nice area for your children to play and its not expensive at all. Such a good place and such great staff. Not only that but the staff works great with kids and even adults. I definitely recommend.”

“I had to stay at their shelter and it was very clean, friendly, safe, and serves tasty food.
Only issue is that you have to leave at 8 am and can not return until after 4 pm. You have to take your property with you everywhere you go.”

“As it is NOT a nonprofit, there is no bargaining and I just personally feel like their prices are too high. I did buy some things. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Even loaded the stuff into my car. There are definitely some good fines here, but I wouldn’t suggest it for a real thrifter.”

“I just want to say how incredibly impressed and thankful I am for the summer camp ( Mentoring Alliance at 3 LAKES) my son attended this year. From start to finish, it was such a positive and uplifting experience! The energy, organization, and passion from the staff was truly unmatched. Every day my son came home with a smile on his face, full of stories and excitement from all the fun and learning he had.
What stood out the most to me was the group of kids attending the camp. They were kind, respectful, welcoming, and full of team spirit. It was beautiful to see such a great group of young people supporting each other and making sure everyone felt included. My son made new friends, grew more confident, and built memories that I know will stick with him for a lifetime.
Thank you to the counselors, staff, and every camper who made this summer one to remember. You all are truly something special! We can’t wait to come back next year! ??”

“Worked with the East Texas Crisis Center (ETCC) when it was an outreach. Back then, ETCC functioned primarily through volunteers recruited from University of Texas at Tyler (UT/T). Remember Dawn Knowles-Franks, Johnnie Patrick, Carol Mantooth, and Bob Geffner (UT/T) as integral. Glad to see it continues to work with excellence through now executive director Lana Peacock. Very Good Work.”
